Mirtazapine
I've been taking Mirt for about 2 years. I gained over a stone in a month to start with; ravenously hungry about 30 mins after taking it. It replaced sleeping pills. I need help sleeping but was on Zolpedum for 14 years and having probs I've also taken other anti ds with no weight gain. I'm not the wreck I sound to be but accept that my depression and sleep probs have to be managed, I love my job.
My worry is that my joints are bad and that being overweight is making them worse.I've been tested for rheumatoid arthritus Negative. I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue a few years ago, which included joint pain,I was slim then. I feel that I need to try harder The Mirt shouldn't be an excuse or my age. I've always watched my weight but scarily unfit now.I think I kind of gave up on love when my last relationship failed but a side of me still cares about myself. I think that loneliness and fear of arelationship hasalot to do withhalf hearted dieting. |
Hi Ruby and :welcome:
I agree, eating out of loneliness and boredom has a huge impact on dieting. Good luck  Hope to see you on the June chick chat thread here, thats where the girls on this board hang out and chat every day... please join them :) Leenie |
