Drowsy/Bedridden Zoloft
 

Hey there! I was wondering, how do some of you deal with your depression, like getting out of bed when meds (zoloft for me) make you feel extra drowsy? There are days when all I want to do is sleep but I know if I exercise I will feel a bit better. Before I took meds I was able to exercise to blow off all the steam I had built up inside me, but since my depression hit I gained a significant amount of weight. How can I find more motivation? Especially to lose weight?

When I was on paxil, I literally slept the days away. I was always tired, and it took us awhile to figure out what was causing it. I had to change medications because it affected my life so much, I never wanted to do anything or go anywhere. All I wanted to do was sleep.

Now I'm on effexor which has given me the complete opposite reaction- I have bad insomnia!!! I guess sometimes you can never win
