Unhappy The Beginning

Basically my entire life I've been fat, and now that I think about it, it's due to depression. See growing up I was the only girl (I was raised with my 2 boy cousins) & with my not having anyone to play with I'd usually be in the kitchen with our granny, or alone in my room. All throughout growing I've been the 'outcast' due to my plus size. All through high school, I was never invited to 'hang out' & didn't get my first date until I was 16:

It really is a vicious cycle. If you're anything like me, you eat because you're depressed and you're depressed because you eat!

I assume because you have joined this website you are wanting to lose weight? Joining a forum like this is so helpful. Knowing that if you've had a bad day there is a place you can vent and talk to others about it!

I am a psychology student and the more I study about depression, the more I look back and realize it has been affecting me for majority of my life. I really would recommend seeing someone, a doctor, a counselor etc as you will be surprised how much of a difference it will make.

Anyway good luck. Smile.
