Anyone ever try SAM-e ?
 

My cousin is taking this for mood swings and seems to be doing very good..i was just wondering if anyone here has had an experience with it?

I took it for awhile a few years ago to help with clinical depression and had fantastic results. I started off with a fairly low dose and increased it over several weeks. I didn't notice any negative side-effects and within 2 weeks, I could already tell a difference. However, my mom, who also has been diagnosed with depression did not seem to notice any difference taking it, except it gave her constant headaches.

Thank you so much for your response! May i ask where you purchased yours from and what brand name? I got nature made 400mg @ walmart yesterday(pretty pricey). Also, what dose did you start off with?
