Windchime, I am loving the journey back to me. I too am finding great value in this process. Who knew one could even forget /give up their favorite color? (Today, it's red!) I'm happy to see that I'm now surrounded with people who genuinely respect me, including myself. I have learned that I don't have to be perfect in order to find and accept respect.

LovebirdsFlying, you're right! Two months till spring! There's always such a gear-up for winter holidays, so January is always such an anti-climactic month. We do need the holiday recovery time, but maybe those Cajuns have the right idea in Mardi Gras. Something to look forward to.

I'm thinking we could bring spring into the house ahead of schedule. Let's buy ourselves some flowers today. Something bright and cheerful.
