Default July 31st Wednesday - Leenie is napping

Morning Ladies,

Well it seems Leenie is asleep at the switch today so I'll start the thread.. She'll come back with an excuse that she was working or something.. we all really know she was napping

The end of the month... a time for reflection on what we did during the previous days.. did we accomplish what we wanted to, did we follow through on our promises to ourselves? Time to re-asses and make changes if they are needed. I for one think I did pretty well during the month. I went over calories a couple of times, got in 23 days (1035 minutes) of exercise and did well on my water. Things I can improve on: Getting in more fruits and vegetables, not being so lazy on the weekends, and always work on planning planning planning.

Last night I was all ready to make a bulgar wheat stir fry, but when I got to the cupboard.. there was NO bulgar wheat!! So I changed the menu to fish veggie couscous http://sidedish.allrecipes.com/az/vgtblcscs.asp and sliced tomatoes. Tonight it is chicken honey nut stir fry, leftover couscous and either tomotes or zucchini or both.

Hope everyone else checks in.. take a few minutes to think back on how you did during the month..

Reflections on this month? Wow! This has been a tremendously big month for me.

I came off my antidepressants after 5 months (weaned under doc's supervision).

I found this site and can't believe the tremendous support!

I rejoined WW and lived through my first week's weigh in after a disastrous (emotionally) weekend with BIG family issues*beaming* (2.4 lb down). Normally this would have kick started me into a binging session.

I actually made some significant progress on my thesis proposal (this is a loooooooong story in itself).

It's actually been a really great month! But before I started typing this, I was thinking it wasn't that great a July. Reflection can be a good thing!
