Hi Leens and those to come,
I had to go read the Low Carb board about your adventure, Leens. It sounds like as much fun as I thought it would be.
I had a guest on Saturday and Sunday, so was kept hopping with being domestic.. cooking and .. omg even cleaning!! We had a nice visit. It had been many years since we had seen each other. Last nite, I crashed from being pooped but a good night's sleep worked wonders.
I made all sorts of yummy food over the weekend.. none of it unhealthy. But I ate a little too much of it, but that's okay. I have leaftovers to last a few days and just will portion them sensibly. Meg, that spinach orzo salad was absolutely delicious on Sunday. Sitting the extra day really mellowed the flavor. That was the only thing that put me over the calorie limit this weekend, but man it was GOOD!!
Having company really had a positive effect on my mood. As we all know, depression eve when controlled by medication, sometimes still gives us ups and downs. It was nice to have an "up and energentic" weekend.
