Depression...overworking?

Hey guys...I need your thoughts.
My depression has been getting the best of me lately. Today I worked out for two hours. I ran for an hour and I lifted for an hour...if my legs weren't shaking like crazy I would have done more. I don't know why I even did it...
Compared to saturday when I stayed in bed for 48 hours...

Anyone else go through any of this?

Maybe its to much stress on the body... try working out for mayb 1/2 hr and progress from there.

Are you on meds? could the meds be poohing out on you?

I sort of understand, because when I feel really bad I work out a lot. My boyfriend took the scales away recently to help me not obsess so much. This coupled with pending exam results, and I've gone from about 45mins cardio a day to 1.5hrs. Briefly, it makes me feel better. Endorphins, after all! Doesn't half make a person tired though.

Energy fluctuations are common in depression/anxiety, I think. Talk to pdoc?

i do!

maybe mild bipolar? I dont know. i find that sometimes i just dont have the energy to be working out so much and then other days i have loads and i need to work it out. i'm not sure that there's anything wrong per se but i guess it is a little unusual but you certainly aren't alone.

hugs
