Hi! My nme is Elizabeth and I've suffered from depression for many many moons. I'm 33, married to a wonderful man from Ireland, no kids yet...
I have always wondered the whole chicken and egg question-- is it my depression that's caused my morbid obesity or is it the obesity that's caused the depression?
I have an awesome therapist who is helping me with my relationship with food... and I'm on zoloft for depression... so far so good. To be honest, it's the only antidepressant that's ever worked for me!
I had weightloss surgery on Dec. 9th, so I'm on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster at the moment as the weight comes off.
And I'm trying to figure out how to overcome the depression so I WANT to exercise and work out.
Anyway, that's a lot of introduction! lol

Hey Elizabeth! wishing you much luck in therapy and with the weight loss, its a long journey with hurdles, but you will get there :) Welcome to the board!
