Let me tell you it ain't easy to lose weight under these circumstances. My moods are up and down and all around and when I get this way I wanna eat. It comforts me (not really I know but my mind says it does). I haven't been taking my meds like I should, which is why I am in the shape I'm in. If I could just get that under control maybe the weight loss thing would be easier.

I am not bipolar but my husband is...topamax has really helped control his moods and slowed his cycles. It also has weight loss as a side effect... He has lost 50lbs since starting it. He still has cycles..but maybe not as severe. Good luck
