Mirtazipine (Remeron)... HELP Am I Doomed?
 

After trying a few other things, the next trial for me is Mirtazipine (Remeron). I am bummed because I know it classically causes quite a bit of weight gain, which is not what I need...

Has anyone taken mirtazipine and successfully fought the weight gain? Or even continued to lose weight on it? I need a strategy to maximize my chance of success!!

Sorry I can't help you with your question regarding Mirtazipine :( maybe some one here could. You know everyone reacts differently meds so maybe you won't gain and since your aware of what it could do, you could adjust your diet and maybe eat smaller meals more often. So try not to panic.

Right now I'm taking Cymbalta, but it's not doing anything so I'm going to switch to mirtazepine.

Well, maybe if we change the title to this thread it might attract folks who are on Mirtazipine. So if you don't mind Ill give it a try.
