newbie w/ ppd struggling w/ meds & weight
 

hi everyone, i've been off and one different meds since my son was born for ppd (he just turned 3) i finally gave in and went back on zoloft because it works best, yet it doesn't help those extra pounds. is it impossible to lose the weight while taking the meds? any advice? and also, to any other moms dealing with ppd, hang in there and don't be scared to get help!! if there is advice i can give to other moms, feel free to pm me anytime. :hug:

I too had PPD, it was horrible. I went on zoloft but couldn't handle the awful thoughts it made me have, very depressing scary thoughts so my doctor switched me to Wellbutrin where I did MUCHO better.

i dont think it's impossible! I mean, it might be hard but not impossible. nothing's impossible.

if you really are struggling perhaps see your doctor to see if there's not an alternative you could try?
