Thanks for your food suggestions! I felt like such a goon for not having any good ideas. But I like the breakfast food ideas.

I am also blue today. Not sure if it was therapy yesterday or the fact that it's a beautiful day here (also 85!) and there is a concert series starting downtown and I have no one to go with. I have an appointment with a psychiatrist next week and am hoping meds/therapy will give me the self-esteem boost I need. Life is just too much of an effort and wears me out.

Chiiiiin up, keep muddling through.

Amarie: Dinner is at 8:30. Bring something sinful yet calorie free for dessert. Also, bring your workout clothes so we can work it off whatever damage we do. :)
Yea, leaving a job can have a certain 'freedom of speech' effect. It doesn't happen often so enjoy it. Give em a couple more :kickbutt::kickbutt: and maybe a :frypan: or a :club:.

Jerzy: I get that 'life is such an effort' feeling too often. Sorry you have it now. Hang in there, circumstances always change.

TY my Friends!!!

Thanks for your support, ladies. I do feel better. Its amazing how one stupid comment can totally ruin your day, if you let it and I am ashamed :o to say that I did let a comment from a "So - called friend" get to me. Then I thought of all the wonderful friends I have made here and all the support everyone here has given me and I realized, I am not "alone", I have a bunch of wonderful people supporting me. So Thank You, my friends.

Jerzygal.. PROTEIN !! have some low calorie (baked or grilled, not fried) chicken, turkey or fish before bed, not only is it low cal the protein will keep you fuller longer. Don't eat empty carbs. Some women like to take a glass of whole milk before bed, they say that fills the tummy too.

Buddly  have fun dressing up DD for the prom ... how exciting. Sorry to hear about the dryer, etc... it really stinks when things go at once.

Amarie a red shoe party... details details, that sounds like fun. Not like the old tupperware parties LOL

Heather HEATHER  There's my Heather....good to see ya sweetie.. miss you.

Sassy... my dad always said, if you have ONE good friend in your life time you are very lucky. I can really relate to that now that I'm older. Dad didn't have the internet though ;)

Hope  good to see ya chickie. Did you have a good time with friends yesterday. I made a promise to myself for this summer... I'm gonna have more friends over and spend time enjoying myself instead of running like a fool.. oy vey LOL

Iris I agree, a cup of tea before bed is dreamy but then there's the bathroom issues. But you know, it really doesn't seem to matter for me, I get up in the middle of the night anyway.... hmmmmm must be age LOL

Cathy  zoooom ~ ~ ~ have a good weekend friend.

We have a busy day today, 2 hours of karate and then to the park to play and picnic with dd and her friends...I'm gonna take my doggy, she'll love it.

Gotta get up and shower and get ready for the day.....have a great day

Hi ladies,

I had a pretty good day. I met a friend at a park and we walked for a couple of miles and then she took me out for an early b-day lunch. We had thai food. :T

I came home and played with the puppies for a while and then did about 40 minutes of cardio (who am I?). DF finally got home and we went out for sushi and saw the movie '88 minutes' with Al Pacino. It was pretty good.

I'm finding a growing addiction to working out, thank goodness. I just really have to or my anxiety starts to take over me and that seems to be the only way to ward it off.

Shop: Where are you? emmy? and there are more we haven't seen in a few days.

Leenie: How did the doggie like the park? Eat anything yummie at the picnic?

Jerzy: Feelin any better? Did you try any breakfast foods before bed? :eating2:

Sassy: It's getting late, isn't it about time for you to post? :)

Amarie: How was the party? :hat:

Good Morning,

Hi Hope, sounds like you had great day. I'm so happy to hear your starting to become addicted to exercise..thats WONDERFUL!!!! I didn't take my dog to the park, it was very hot and sunny and there is no shade there so I didnt think it would be a good idea for the old gal. Dh was home so she layed in the back yard under the tree. No good food... just a ckn sandwich LOL.

Nothing much is new today, got a few things that are a must to do, like clean the fish tank and see MIL for her birthday but thats it... I love days like today. I hope the sun comes out.

Anyway........ have a wonderful Sunday.

Leenie

what is a red shoe party? i've been in my new apt since october and have yet to have people over. i'm still trying to repair relationships i've ignored because of being absorbed in feeling depressed and anxious, but i've been wanting to find time to have a fondue party or something for my girlfriends. just curious about the red shoe thing! =)

jerzygal, i hope you are feeling better. *hugs*

hope4me, i swear i used to really love exercising and feel kind of blah when i didn't do it for a day or two. is that an addiction? i want it back... anyway congrats on your budding exercise addiction - possibly the only addiction that sounds like a good thing!

when i got up it was POURING rain, but now the sun's starting to come out. at least that makes me day a little bit better. i've got some errands to run and i'd be miserable in that downpour!

Hi Ya Peeps! lol

Hey "Peeps" lol :chicken:

Wow I woke up tonight with a headache :headache: and backache! lol. Took some Tylenol and now I am ok. lol.......Well as "ok" as I can be. :dizzy: lol.

Been warm :hot: here but icky outside .......Just makes me wanna sleep.

I still have to do laundry......and I don't wanna. lol. Sound like a 2-yr. old :bb: don't I? "I don't wanna" :tantrum: lol.

I don't wanna go to work tomorrow night either. lol...........But who does wanna go to work? lol. I haven't done crapola this weekend, just no energy.........

Well my "Friend" who made the nasty comment to me is history as far as I'm concerned. Her "friendship" has been very rocky for a while now, I just hadn't done anything about it before. So no more. I don't need those kind of "friends"

I have been craving Strawberries....not the crappy grocery store kind, but the very sweet grown in the garden type......... DH got a flat from the flea market a while back that was ooooooohhhhh so good!

My DH Roasted me some Red Peppers and they were yummo! I think I could live on those and Sun-Dried Tomatoes alone.

Leenie -- Your dad is right and so are you, we are very blessed to have so many wonderful friends via the internet.......;)

Hope -- WTG on the exercise!! :high: Wish I was addicted to exercise. lol. I was in "lazy mode" yesterday/early this morning" lol. So didn't get online. lol.

I hope you all enjoy the last remaining hours of Sunday and hope you have a Great Week this Week.
