I am SO bleeping PSYCHED! I just got DDR SuperNova and I LOOOOVE it!!! It's so much fun, and barely feels like a workout! I mean I'm sweating and stuff, but it's way too much fun to be exercise. :p I just went a solid half hour on it, and that's the most I've gone without stopping on any exercise. Except when I sometimes walk with my mom. I am taking a break now, cause my one foot is kinda hurting a little. But I'm going to keep playing this! I need to get more games now. And maybe in a couple of months dish out the cash for the metal control pad. I feel so GOOD! :) :) :)

Well girls, thanks to Hurricane Barry our trip is canceled :( I can't believe my first trip in 17 years and its canceled, I'm so upset and my poor DD who's been looking forward to this for weeks. oh well, things could be worse huh.

Aww, Leenie - you guys must be SO disappointed! :( What a shame for you all. What will you do instead then - something special?

Scale is reading up a lb this morning, but expecting TOM anytime form tomorrow, so no doubt I am seriously retaining water. Not too worried, but will try to up the exercise a bit this week anyway - anything is better than sitting on my butt!

Hubby is away this afternoon for two weeks - these trips used to make me eat very poorly - like pizza three times a week! this will be the first extended trip since I started this journey - I think I've stocked up well and been eating wisely for long enough now that this won't present a huge challenge... I'm aware that boredom may settle in, but I WILL NOT EAT to relieve it. Playing with the very scary idea of starting gently into the Couch2 5K running program... not sure if I can do it, but I'm thinking about it... and that's ALL I am doing with that idea at the moment! :D

Where is everyone? Out enjoying the sunshine?? Out battling with Hurricane Betty??

I went running! Okay, so I walked, then jogged for a minute, then walked for a minute and a half, then jogged another minute and so on. For about 20 minutes - I feel pretty good! Going to see if I can do the same Wednesday and Friday.

Sorry I've been MIA for I guess a week now. I had to put my pooch to sleep last Tuesday.:( It was one of the hardest things I've ever done. I had to care for her like a baby for almost a month and I think that made it worse. I was so much more attached than if she had been somewhat self-sufficient. I am glad that she isn't sick anymore. Poor thing. I miss her every second.

I went to the dr. last week also and got my thyroid medicine that I've been without and Celexa. I've never tried it so I hope it works.

Heather, I see your still kickin butt on the weight loss and exercise.:carrot: My friend did that program and now she is running marathons. She started at about the same weight as you and had never ran before nor had done anything athletic. You go girl!

Leenie: That just sucks!

Leenie sorry about you trip being cancelled, how dissapointing especially since its your first one in 17 years!

Sassy, how did the cat scan go? Its good you caught the allergy early before any serious reactions. My mom ended up with her face ballooned and purple with no blood volume, it took a week in the hospital and one very dedicated er doc to clue in she was allergic to the ace inhibitors in her blood pressure meds.(this happend after three minor attacks)

Heather congrats on the running!! You are doing great and are such an inspiration!!

blessedbe, I'm so glad you found something you enjoy doing. We have the DDR and I was trying to do that with my one daughter, but the rabbit ate the cord to the one pad and that became a good excuse! Keep up the good work!

I'm still in my hole. Its been absolutly georgous, real summer weather lately. Thankfully the wind picked up today, so hopefully it will blow some mosquitoes and black flies away so we can go outside without a can of deet on us. Hubbys work seems to be getting back to normal, so hopefully I can relax on that point. My mom wants me to keep her company when she has to work graveyard shift alone on the 6th. Its her birthday so its the least I can do. At least we can visit while I cut onions and she cleans fryers. (she works at an express A & W) I spent a little time trying to turn over our garden yesterday, the girls had got some of it done, the clay gets so hard when its dry and its so sticky when its wet. The dandilions have taken over my strawberry patch so I have to go and deal with that, actually right now would be perfect. (with the wind to keep the bugs busy) Hubby rehung my clothesline so I've been hanging all our laundry outside, our last hydro bill was a doozie, so this will help.
