Weighing foods when and how

I know this is probably on here somewhere but I'll ask anyway. When is the best time to weigh food for meals? At the time of serving or in it's raw form? I know if something says 2 oz I'll weigh that ingredient, but I guess I am not 100% sure which is the correct time to weigh?

Raw whenever possible, including dry grains, rice, pasta, etc. If you have to, you can use cooked as an estimation, but raw is most accurate.

I have a question about the 60 g of oatmeal in phase 1 alternative protocol. Do you weigh that raw or cooked. It is a lot of oatmeal, I use large flake oats.

I'm sorry - I don't know anything about IP! What about posting in the IP section - I'm sure someone knows :)
