Default italian sausage

Lately I've been making my own sweet Italian sausage at home. It has SO much flavour and none of the preservatives and crap that the store bought version has. Also it's seriously lower in calories.

I'm using one package ground turkey (99% fatfree 1.25 pounds) and 1 pound of 93/7 ground beef spiced with the following to taste

fennel (I use the whole seed but I bet ground would work)
paprika
garlic powder
black pepper
rosemary
thyme
basil

prolly 1 teaspoon of each, not sure cause I eyeball it.

It weights in at a lean 138 calories per 4oz serving.

Add some Hunts no sugar added spaghetti sauce (35 calories a serving) some sauteed onion, bell pepper, and garlic and you have a meat sauce that is ridiculously low in calories and tastes as good as any restaurant I've been too.
