Woohoo! Keep goin!

Scooter- The scale reading a lower number always feels good. You're right, every little bit counts! and HAVE FUN in Disney World... I'm jealous! Hehe. Maybe it would help to think of it this way, you're in Disney World! How many more "treats" do you need? Just a thought.

tryingagain- Congratulations on the pound loss! WTG! Dancing is great exercise, just try to exercise restraint with those high-cal drinks!

Jelly- I love your enthusiasm! You are a great water lady.

Owira- I so appreciate your interest in my weight watchers decision. So far so good. I guess the main difference from how I was eating before is that I am eating a lot less fat. When planning my day's meals, I have realized that I had better make more healthy choices, or I run out of my points more quickly than I used to run out of calories. Haha... does this make any sense? Anyway, my weigh-in yesterday morning was down a pound and a half, which was exciting. Of course, I had some low-calorie days before I started WW on Sunday, so who knows which it was. On the other hand, I have been eating more balanced meals, that taste yum. And I really love the recipes they have. This does seem like a healthful, yum, way to eat for life. Doesn't it feel GREAT to be making healthy choices?

Annie- I am so sorry about your injury. Take care of yourself so that you can heal. Don't think about yourself as behind... Just focus on what you can do from here!

Ivy- Hi! Stick with it, cause you can do it!

Deafinly- smaller portions just feel better. When I think about my old portions I am amazed at the difference!

Motochic- Congrats on your loss this week, and all your loss so far! You are an inspiration. Isn't it wonderful to hear from other people who are going through the same things?

Flabbychic-Best of luck staying on track...you can do it!

Mmmm... I have had a fun couple days. I am mostly on track with school, and I have kept the eating under control. Smile!!!

Don't worry about Disney World. You will do so much walking, it won't really matter much. Plus with all that walking, you really won't feel like eating much either. Eat, pay attention to portion, walk and mostly just enjoy yourself. Unlike most vacations, this one will have built in excercise.

Thank you!

That is a very good point that Disney World is my treat. And I will definately get plenty of exercise down there!

We are leaving tomorrow morning to drive to Nashville then fly out Sunday Morning I have never flown before so that is kind of exciting. The only thing I don't like is that everything has to be packed. I have a tendency to throw things in the car at the last minute but I am trying to get it together. :dizzy:

Wish me luck everyone. I'm going away this weekend to Knoebels for their fall phunfest. The ticket purchase pays for all the rides plus a soda and two huge slices of the best pizza I've ever had besides Mack and Manco down ocean city, nj. There is no way I can resist, so instead I will eat extra light for breakfast and lunch. Then the next morning we'll go out to breakfast so that will be difficult. I lost another pound! I just don't want to gain it back in one night!

Have a good weekend everyone. And don't forget, even if we have set backs, at least we are all still trying and we have no intention of ever giving up!

Hello everyone. I am new to this site if you have room I would love to join in. I would also like to do the christmas challenge. 7LBS. will be my goal. I need to get back into a better routine of exercise. The intakes have gotten better over the past week. I am watching my calories trying to stay with in 1400-1500 which is actually a lot of food if I eat healthy. If not just like ww the #'s add up quickly. My overall wt. to lose is now about 10lbs. So this seems to be the hardest. But over all I am wearing a smaller size clothes than last year at this time and feel pretty good about that. But the youngest daughter is getting married next June and mom wants to look nice too. Have a great day and I will continue to ck. in because it motivates me to continue to do well. I also will attempt to do the Ticker Factory.com
