Does anybody have plans for Labor Day Weekend? I know how these special weekends can sometime throw a rod into our losses but if we plan a little in advance, mentally and otherwise, we can do it!!!! :carrot:
We are suppose to go to a bar-b-q. My plan is to bring some extra vege's to throw on the grill and bring my own salad dressing. |

Well my TOPS weigh in is tonight. I hope that I didn't gain. When I lose so much in one week I usually have a gain the next. Here's praying I don't. Me and my boyfriend have been counting calories. I have been staying around 1600. So I am proud. The said thing is that when I lost all my weight I will have lost my boyfriend. He weighs about the same as I need to lose :(...Thats depressing. But the way he put it think about carrying him around all the time. YIKES!!:fr:
I haven't been so good at exercising the last couple of days but I am going to get back on it!!:lifter: :strong: :yoga: :bike2: Its been hard not having cokes :(...I LOVE COKE. its YUMMY :dance: But to get rid of this weight I must part ways. The last time I was in California I just had my son and I I weighed 176. I dropped since then. I had went down to 156 and recently went back to 165:cbg: and now 162. I feel rather like all I make is excuses recently. About four years ago I fell down a flight of concrete stairs and hurt my ankle (and decided NOT to see the doctor) now the ligaments and tendons are messed up. So on friday I was trying to increase the intenisty of my workout by adding just a 3% incline and increasing the speed. Well...bad idea. It really managed to hurt my foot. So I've taken some time off from walking...
then on top of that my last semester began and I have to plan out a new exercise plan that doesn't involve early morning workouts. So to help motivate me I was thinking of what my weightloss motivation was, selfish and unselfish, and I would love to read about other peoples as well. Motivations... 1)Get healthy 2)Be more attractive than my sister 3)increase my self esteem 4)rub looking fit and healthy in the faces of people that think I'm fat...(most selfish) |

Haven't posted in a week. Sorry!!!! IF you notice my ticker it went up a pound. Not discouraged yet - still eating right, exercising and drinking that water and I am sure the scale will be kinder to me on Friday. ;)

I felt like this summer was an endless supply of doc appts from a podiatrist, physical therapist (I had problems with my feet), phychiatrist (bipolar meds management), denist, regular md (ibs, mastitis), ENT (ear infection), dermatologist (skin infection--allergic reaction to meds) and so forth. I wanted to yell to someone upstairs that I'm ONLY 31! It was endlessly frustrating, but believe it or not, my diet was one thing I COULD control. Good luck to you. You really can do it. I ate melon for breakfast, salad for lunch, and chilli for dinner (measured it out).
I'm used to 5 times a day, but I'll get a balance soon. I also drank 3 waters and will drink the 4th (making 64) with my meds at bedtime. |

It has been a few days but I have been pretty good. I am going to try to weigh on fridays...I usually weigh everday but it makes me kinda crazy.:dizzy: I need to get some more exercise this week. I have kinda slowed down. ..but know it is so important to my loss. I t seems like if I exercise the weight just falls off..knowing this you would think that I would exercise all the time...but no...lol. Lately I have been getting alot of exercise running away from my hubby...he will not leave me alone..lol...I asked him today what he will do when I lose another 50 pounds...he had the most evil smile on his face. I love having him think I am cute again...Note to self...buy some new running shoes. Jennifer- I hope your weigh in goes well. You have been doing great. I call the week after a big loss a hangover week....hope you don't have a hangover week. Welcome Jelly..one of favorite people goes by Jelly...I love her.....you will love it here...these girls are great. I know what you girls are talking about with the scales....I actually am to a weight that a regular scale can weigh me...yay!! Obviously, I have alot more to go but it is nice to be able to keep track at home. Well this mornin I gave it up and went to the chiropractor .. oh .. if he wasn't twice my age and married .. i would take him home with me! the man has some magical hands! am feeling alot better today ..but still a lil tender .. watchin what i eat but for time being layin off the weight liftin and treadmill .. the good news is he just wants to see me tomorrow .. than friday ..and after that .. i am suppose to send him a post card every now and then cause he don't think i will need to be back ... so next monday I will be back on my treadmill .. than the week after back to my weight lifting .. a lil slide back but its ok .. only problem now is fighting the pms craving demon that is sittin on my shoulder whisperin bad things to me ..but its k .. i keep tellin her to shut up .. ~scratches head~ i hope i was usin my inside voice..but that might explain the odd looks from my boss today!

Your motivation... not having your thighs rub together... is at the top of my list, too! I am a "bottom heavy" girl anyway, so I know it will be a long time until my thighs can pass one another freely without always rubbing, but I SOOOO look forward to it.

I took him for a walk and beat him!!!
Oh for heavens sake it is not what you think!!!! Especially you Owira....lol...I took my hubby who is slim and trim for a walk with myself and our dog and he had to to ask me to slow down several times. Finally he sat on the bench and watched the river while my dog and I finished the walk and came back to pick him up. I have been trying to get him to quit smoking and doing a bit more exercise...I think I might have got him. :carrot: pretty bad when the fat girl and the dog with a bad leg can beat ya....yup!

Pardon me while I whine. I just cannot seem to stay on this dang wagon!!!. My birthday was the 28th and I ate whatever I wanted, because I was depressed, no one remembered my day :cry:, including my boyfriend :frypan: and now I can't get it together. TOM is not helping. I am extremely hormonal and I am extra hard on myself right now. I don't look or feel particularly attractive. My bestfriend is mad at me, I am mad at my boyfriend...and I need to scream. :tantrum: That . is . all. Today will be a better day. I Hope :crossed: |
I have a digital scale that lies. LOL. Not really. But if you lean to one side you can be down as much as two pounds. haha.
Not much on this front. Work and home have been stressful, my neck is broke out horrible. It has been about 1 1/2 years since I had stress zits on my neck. Anyway have a grand day everyone. Annie |
