  • I'm starting this challenge for myself and anyone who wants to join- no matter what program you're on!

I tend to focus too much on the big goals that are hard to reach, so I'm challenging myself to lose JUST 10 lbs.

My first weigh in puts me at 264.8, so I'd like to be 254.8 by the end of the challenge.

I'm giving myself until Dec 1 to get there. Anyone wanna join me?

I'll join you in LOSING weight, but you want to go UP a pound Nope, not me

Just teasing ya, I know you really mean 254.8, right? 10 pounds less? I'm game! I want to lose 10 pounds, 10 times! (just not the same 10 )
  • I'm in!
  • I am such a dork! it was late at night when I did that! lol

    Yes, I meant 254.8 heheh
  • Hey Mandy, I'm down 1 pound today!!! I've been fluctuating 3 pounds up and down this week, but I'm finally on the lower end of it and its pushing for another pound!
  • yes thats my goal to lose 10 lbs.. I said by Christmas, but hopefully before my b-day 12/13, I'll have loss that AND more.

    Good luck everyone!
  • I'd love to join you! Please? Doing it 10 at a time makes it sound better. I won't put a time limit on it, that usually messes me up. Slow and steady works best. My goal is 120. I'm now 140. Marion
  • hi Marion!!

yes doing 10 at a time is a GREAT way to stay motivated, b/c no matter how long you've been doing it, you'll have had CONTINUOUS success... versus just waiting to lose 100, if you can lose 10 lbs 4 times look how much success that is, and the motivation even if you're not completely at your goal!!
You can do it... only 2 steps away!!
  • You're doing great. Slow and steady is the way. You have to make a life change, to make it last. I started a couple of years ago, weighing 215. It's been so worth it!! Here's to all of us. We can do, this, gals! M.
  • I Did It! I Did It! I DID IT!

Now, I am going to work on the NEXT 10
  • Room for another loser?
I was wondering if it is too late to join you ladies? I have at least 50# to lose, but I am breaking it down into 10# mini-goals so this thread is perect! I am hoping to see the first 10# gone for Christmas!
  • Hi! Jump right in and join us. I know I can sure use the support. What kind of plan are you using? I'm counting calories, eating small portions, having several small meals throught the day. I'm a strict vegetarian, so my food choices are slimming and healthy. Lately, tho' I'm nutso for bread..... arrgghhh!!!! Marion
  • I just started going to a gym and they work up a food plan for you.... I will be getting mine in the morning, but I think I will most likely do calorie counting as I am as picky as you can be and I want to make sure I can stick with the meal plan I have.... I jus joined the gym on Friday and had my first workout/training on Saturday. Tomorrow is my first real workout and I am looking forward to it! I lost 50# going to Curves and counting calories in the past and then I had some health issues and allowed myself to make excuses and struggle with a very heavy bout of depression and gain it all back... So it is time to start again from square one... No excuses this time!
  • I just wanted to check in and let you know that I am 30% to my first goal! LOL - That's right I have lost 3#! How are you all doing this week?
  • Can I join you all? I need to lose a total of 68 lbs and I am the same as you, I cancentrate to much on that and I end up giving up before I lose the first five. I am going to start my first ten tomorrow morning. I will give myself until New Years day for that one. I hope I can do it. I am so excited to watch everyones progress! Did I mention I am new here? I am looking forward to getting to know some great ladies too.
