I was debating skipping this month, but I can't afford to let my guard down. I've worked too hard and am too close now to my ultimate goal to backslide! I'll be going on vacation after the 10th...
Personal Goal for Nov 1st: No net gain!
ETA: ORIGINALLY I meant not to end the month higher than where I started.

BONUS personal goal, I want to end below 168.


October Goal: Lose 3 lbs
Weight Goal: 167.9


10/01: 170.9
10/10: 167.6- NEW LOW
Out of town 10/11-10/25
10/26: 169.4
Working on getting calories back up to a sustainable yet losable level
10/27: 170.3

Hi! A late start is better than none at all lol. My weight today was 286, planning on cleaning up my eating because Iíve been actively on a wlj for nearly 11 months and thatís about 30 lbs down from where I began (at 316.8). While Iím grateful to be significantly smaller than I was when I began, thatís pretty paltry given all the mental gymnastics Iíve endured, my starting weight, etc. and I KNOW I can do better. Time to prove it.

Today’s weight (10/4) was 285.2 , goal for October 279.9 (to finally break free from the 280s don’t choke and don’t cheat!)

Happy New Week everyone!

Great job Joy and Candid!

I hit a new low milestone today. I haven't been in the 160's since my early teens... *cough* maybe 40 years ago. Now, to keep it off as I try to get more calories in to a sustainable level.

In weather news. We have another tropical system headed this way. Seriously?!
2020 will definitely not be forgotten.

Welcome, everyone! Here's our initial list. Did I spell your username and state your goal correctly? Did I miss anyone? (I usually don't ask that, but I had a computer glitch in the midst of compiling this list and I may have lost someone)

Thank you Gardenerjoy, yesterday’s weigh in (10/5) was 284.9 lbs which is my lowest yet. I also just discovered celery for a snack, hoping that will help me on my Health journey.

Way to go Kstrong, and yeah it’s been a rough year but I want to find my silver lining.

Candid - Way to go on the new low!

The scale has been lovely and I hit my personal 14 week challenge goal this morning. I've been way too low on calories and I have got to get those back up. I just don't get hungry except once a day and I am trying to have better habits of only eating when I'm hungry (like a normal person ) and practice portion control. Unfortunately I'm getting light headed and this morning had one of the worse headaches that I can remember. That could have been due to no caffeine though... Anyway, I picked up some more natural raw almonds and will add those to my late afternoon snack. Hopefully, the scale won't rebel.

Wow. I had such a wonderful scale week (for me anyway).
I'm trying not to be excited waiting on the usual uptick for absolutely.no.reason. Anyway, as of today I'm only 2/10ths of a pound from my monthly goal. Keeping in mind that my personal goal is to maintain (net) whatever I lose when Nov 1st rolls around due to my vacation starting this weekend... and knowing that my calorie levels are not sustainable in the long run.

Tomorrow I am going to weigh on my home scale and my travel scale to see what kind of difference there is. Going forward it might be a bit confusing unless they actually weigh the same (highly unlikely) and I plan to only weigh on Fridays.

Needless to say, I am cautiously optimistic with my new lows sticking, but shocked that I had one every day this month so far. That never happens to me after those initial water losses.


October Goal: Lose 3 lbs
Weight Goal: 167.9


10/01: 170.9
10/08: 168.1 ~ NEW LOW
