Inspired by boopchick's challenge last Summer, I now bring you the
Spring to Summer Challenge, which runs from today, March 19th until the first day of Summer, June 20th, 2020. First day of spring is a great time to commit to a healthier lifestyle. And obesity is a risk factor in Covid-19, so by losing weight, you are helping protect yourself and your loved ones. If you are working from home, you have a lot of control over the times you eat and have lots of time to cook. The grocery stores had a rough week for packaged goods, but mine, at least, still had a lot of produce in stock. My fridge is stocked with more healthy food than usual. No excuses.
For me, it was nice to see that despite my recent gains, I'm still down 10 pounds from this same date last year. And I'm still down about 83 pounds overall. This is why long term tracking is important. We may not be seeing the gains this week (or season in my case), but it pays off in the long run. I'd very much like to get back to the 160s this season, which I saw at Halloween.
Whether you are looking to lose weight or maintain, all are welcome. Feel free to join in at any time.
Post your starting and goal weights and your weekly progress on your day of choice.
