Default 10-Day Challenge

It's 10 days until December and i've decided I want the next 10 days to be 'calorie-deficit' days, so i'll make myself accountable and report progress here!
Of course the weekend will be the most challenging, but it's only 10 days so how hard can it be?!......
I"m operating a traffic light system here, so taking in to account all my calories and all my exercise, i'll rate each day as we go along:
Green = energy deficit Yellow = energy neutral Red = too much food!!
Would be great if anyone joined in too for a bit of extra motivation

Day 1 - Thurs Nov 21: Green - Plenty of veggies and low carbs. Also did a Core class at gym. Had a museli bar, but all accounted for
Day 2 - Fri Nov 22: Green - Food similar to yesterday minus the museli bar, and add a spin class at the gym. Off to bed soon but i am feeling a bit peckish.....

Day 3 - Sat Nov 23: Green - Ate more calories than usual, but all good quality ones and burned more off due to 24km trek (plus two dog-walks!), so happy that i'm green overall

Day 4 - Sun Nov 24: Green or Yellow - I"m not counting calories, just estimating, so not exactly sure which it is today. I was tempted by wine but resisted, and didn't have any dessert or crisps or silly stuff, but my lamb portion for dinner could've been lower, and i had some chilli mayonnaise which was un-needed calories. Painted front and back of 4x floor to ceiling patio doors today, so plenty of up and down ladders, but no gym. Overall though i'm super-happy with negotiating the weekend without a slipup. Wow, 10 days will go quickly....

Day 7 - Wed Nov 27: Green - spin class and good fud (again). Maybe all this green-ness is a bit dull, but i'm pretty excited that i've stuck to the plan! I dug out my Beck diet stuff from a couple of years ago today and wrote out an action plan for food strategies and targets for when our visitors arrive on Sunday, so feeling more confident about how i'll get on mow that i have a plan.

Day 8 - Thurs Nov 28: Green with a lemony tinge! - Got hungry last night and had an extra museli bar. I figure that if i ate the same as yesterday consistently i'd probably still lose very slowly, but i had more than i strictly needed. Actually, just remembered i went to gym twice though - spin in morning and back at night for a core class - maybe i burnt a few more calories than normal yesterday after all

Day 9 - Fri Nov 29: Green - Today was easy - wasn't especially hungry. Weird why some days are easy and others hard! Did a weights class at gym - mainly not big weights but slow movements 'time under tension' kind of stuff and i'm aching already!
