I’m starting a 6 week diet challenge. Finishing in time for Halloween! Any type of diet welcome. I’m sticking to sensible healthy eating and a bit low carb at times. I'll join!! My focus will be portion control! My diet has always been pretty much decent for the most, I just need to learn how to control my portion sizes a lot more better. I'm currently working out 5 days a week but plan to switch some things around today and up the intensity of my workouts a little more.

Definitely in!
October goal will be 145, which would put me at the top end of normal!
My weigh-ins will be on Wednesdays though, in order to match up with other challenges.

Welcome Denise and Artimae. Feeling quite good and positive about this 6 weeks. We can do this. Denise, Portion control sounds good. I’m terrible for seconds after dinner. Artimae, Thanks for sharing your goal weight. I’m not sure on mine yet but just lose as much as I can. I weighed myself and ouch it’s a big number and I don’t wish to see it again. I’m 5ft 6 inches // 168

CW: 158.5 lbs / 11 stone 4.5 lbs

I’m full today so I skipped breakfast which I won’t be making a habit of. Probably full after the roast and final chocolate bar I had last night!! For lunch today I’m having 2 boiled eggs. Going to supermarket in a while so will choose a healthy dinner. I’m hoping to have a more set meal plan as I go along xxx

I’m in!! I am on a low fat calorie counting eating plan. I’m trying to eat as clean and whole as possible and trying to limit my intake of animal proteins. My goal is to lose to lose 16.8 pounds by Halloween, which will put me at 225 pounds and out of Obese Category II!!! I would like to up by exercise to 4-5 times a week for at least 30 minutes each time.

Welcome Farn0057. Let’s stick together and lose weight til Halloween!

I need to up my exercise. Today I eat:

Breakfast: 1 slice whole meal toast and 2 scrambled eggs
Lunch: Ham and Egg salad
Dinner: Low calorie Chicken Chow Mein
Snack: Grapes

I’d love to reach for some chocolate or toast now but won’t. What are your weaknesses food wise? I also love pizza, chicken and wine!

My food weaknesses are pizza and tacos! Oh, and curly fries. I'm a potato fiend when not on keto. I'm trying a method in which I try to stay on plan for a minimum 5 days a week, meaning slight deviations are fine on the weekends. It definitely has been helping to keep my binging in check!

All this talk about food when my eating window doesn't start until noon is rough Atarimae & ja23, you both understand my pain I told hubs pizza is a once a month thing now (has been for a few months). My food weakness is actually authentic Mexican food... but I don't live anywhere near the border anymore so I don't ever get to indulge. It's for the best. That much cheese and bread can't be healthy haha. Farn0057 you're inspirational! I need to get off my butt and set a more challenging (yet still healthy) goal for myself.

Yesterdays:
lunch: 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 bag of chips (I know :/)
dinner: veggie pasta with chicken and spinach, and a side mixed greens salad with raspberry vinaigrette low fat dressing
desert: yogurt & peanut butter

Todays:
lunch: grilled chicken with bell peppers and quinoa (I cant waittt)
dinner: gotta finish off that veggie pasta

Finallyyy back down to my weight from last week (after an awful binge weekend). Chin up and moving forward. Gotta get under 200lbs before the new year!

Shellofself hope you’re doing well and progress to move away from the 209.X. My weight loss is slow but I’m determined to put in much more exercise this week and weigh in next Tuesday.

No breakfast.
Lunch: chicken sandwich and cous
cous.
Dinner: chocolate protein shaken with unsweetened almond milk.
Snack: banana.

One hour hilly speed walk.

Hey ladies!! How are you'll doing? Is everyone still hanging in there? I finally hit the 20 pound loss mark this morning along with a total of -16.5 inches loss as of today as well!!
