I was STARVING all day yesterday for some reason. Usually when I snack all day it is for no reason, but yesterday, I was just super hungry. I snacked on chicken, protein bar, nuts, etc, to try to back off the hunger, but I was just ravenous. So needless to say, I ate quite a bit and was expecting to be up today. I was glad to see a number still in the 175s. Fortunately, it seems to have passed today and I feel back to normal again. So I'm not going to end this month down much, but at least I should be down something. |

I've got big plans for October moving forward so I'm remaining hopeful that from here on out I'll actually start reporting a loss in this thread! I ordered a new running band for my phone since it's now too big for all my running gizmos. Today I went to the mall to return a dress I ordered on Torrid, I noticed all the aches and pains I feel purely from months of inactivity + being obese again. It was more fuel to the fire to get my a$$ in gear and lose some weight! Since I work with average weights using an app on my phone this will be my last post in the thread before I hop over to October. Hope to see y'all there! Lacerta - Funny when our bodies do that isn't it? I usually get like that just as I'm about to get a cold, I just can't stop eating! etherbunny - Congrats on the loss, that's fantastic! Atarimae - Thank you! Phew sounds like you had some amazing gourmet adventures. You just gotta live a little sometimes, right? Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't encourage people to go "off plan" too often, but sometimes it's good for the soul to treat yo self. So sorry you have a sinus infection! Hopefully the antibiotics will take care of it soon. I've only needed antibiotics once for an ear infection and I was quite amazed at how fast acting they were. Hang in there and see you in October! sgregg - Girl, I feel your pain. The 190's can go eff themselves if you ask me! It's been a tough time shaking these pounds, but I think we've both been a little lackluster with our efforts for a little while. Time for us to take action and stay on plan, get moving and lose this weight! Your nonchalance for being pregnant baffles me, haha. I'd be freeeaaking out if I thought I was pregnant! :lol: But then again, I don't want kids, so there's that!! Keala - My advice to you is don't get irritated. I know it's easier said than done, but these fluctuations happen. Maybe you could benefit from calculating your average weight for the week? I found that really helped my mentality to my weight. |
Bonus Days
29: 175.8 30: 175.8 ---------------------------- Total Loss for Bonus Days: +1.0 Total loss for Entire Month: -0.8 So that looks terrible for the month, but I also took my measurements this morning, and over the 8 spots I measure, I was down a total of 2 inches. Not a lot in any one spot, but some loss in 6 of the 8 spots. This was the first month I regularly stuck with strength training, so although I didn't lose much on the scale, I suspect I lost more fat than the number reflects. I'm great with that. Plus, the biggest drops were my chest and belly, which are the spots I most need to lose from. How can I be sad about that? See you all in October. |

For my final weigh-in of September, I saw 151.2. It was expected due to the indulging that occurred on Friday and Saturday! TMI, but once again backed up in the #2 department; pretty sure my body just goes in shock mode during the weekends! Thank you all for the well wishes; the nasty gunk has significantly decreased...but we shall see. Hubby who is a pharm tech told me most people on the antibiotics I'm on take it 3-4x a day. So either it's more preventative or the urgent care doc was a quack, hahaha! Rie ~Glad the motivation is there! Sometimes it just takes a few 'backward' steps to fuel your behind! :cheer: I think this'll be my last post for the month, so see everyone in October! SO EXCITED FOR HALLOWEEN SEASON. |
