Lacerta: Sorry that your numbers have been on a metaphorical seesaw the past couple of days...that can be a rollercoaster, never knowing what to expect! As always...bodies are weird, lol.

Newlyn: Hope you were able to get some adequate rest and are feeling a little more energetic today!

sgregg: Welcome back from your trip, and good job flushing out that bloat so quickly!!

--------------------------------

It seems that, despite being on-plan every day, my body is wanting to hold onto the water so far this week. I was a little low on actual water and a little over on sodium the past two days though, so even though I was on the lower end of my calorie range, it makes sense. I will just have to wait and see how it all averages out by week's end. Going to keep up the exercise and food plan and then make sure I actually get in a decent amount of water today and see if there will be any bigger movements down again. Hope everyone is doing well!

I've had a stomach bug for a few days and I've been in bed with aching/stabbing stomach pains. The only silver lining seemed to be that my system couldn't be emptier so I should take advantage of that and WI. Not a great result. I guess the chocolate had more of an effect than I thought! I've put on 10 pounds from my low in Feb/March...

Still not a new low, but that's the lowest I've seen in a while. Still hoping to get back into the 183s to end the month.

Skullarix: Nice loss, water weight or not!

Newlyn: Oh no, I hope you're feeling better today! Stomach bugs are never fun.

Lacerta: I hope you're able to break back down into the 183 range before month's end!

------------------------------

I haven't checked in for a few days, but I am still around! I fluctuated up and down all week, but I ended it with a 1.6 lb loss overall. Pretty similar to last week, so I'm hoping to just keep up some momentum moving forward, as well. I ended up getting my first pair of glasses this week (I've been needing to get some for a couple of years now, but I just kept putting it off.) I seem to be having some issues adjusting to them and have been experiencing a feeling similar to motion sickness until I've been wearing them for a few hours. I've heard it's normal to need a week or two for your eyes to really acclimate to the lenses, so looking forward to fully adjusting! I mainly need them for seeing the board better during classes and for driving, but I don't feel comfortable driving in them yet...I feel like I might as well be considered driving under the influence until I get used to them, lol. Anywho, back to studying for a bit and then I'll be heading out for my evening walk...hope everyone's having a great day!

Thanks ophelia. I got there today. Let's see if I can hang onto it tomorrow to end the month. Nice to see that 183 again. Only the 3rd time, and the first time in about 4 weeks. I'm definitely not moving quickly right now. But I was as high as 186 at one point this month, so it is progress from there, at least.

I found out this week my cousin is getting married on August 3rd. That will be the first time I've seen most of the family in 5 or 6 years. I have two different dresses I can ALMOST wear. So I really need to have a good July and take off a few more pounds so I don't have to go shopping for just this one event. 170s, here I come. Also, when everyone asks me how much weight I've lost, it will feel so much better if I can say "about 90 pounds" instead of "about 85 pounds". So I'm going to push in July and try to have a better month than May and June were.

Not an overly impressive month. But the important thing is that I didn't fall off the wagon. My streak remains intact. That's 16 months with at least some overall loss.

Oh and I took my measurements. 2 were up 1/4 inch and 2 were down 1/4 inch, so just margin of error, and no net change. Which is not a surprise.

Tabbycat here.
The whole month of May I did no exercise, and I ate terrible foods. (End of the school year teacher story!)
I stepped on the scale and I am up to 135. I feel best at about 125.
My weight loss goal for June is 5 pounds.
My plan is either Sonoma or Bone Broth Diet. I've done both in the past and found them very do-able.
June 1 start weight: 135
June 30 goal weight: 130

June 30: Made it! Barely! Exactly 130 (the scale has been on 130 for about three days now)

Oh, my chicks,

I did a bad thing... I was feeling so good about myself and patting myself on the back. So somehow ended up looking at pictures of myself from when I was thinner. I vaguely know how much I weighed in some of the pictures, so I decided to do the math on how much I have to lose to get to look "that good." Now I'm discouraged... I have almost 40 more pounds to go to get to where I start to look good to myself... *sigh*
