i'm going for a rest day today
(or might sneak in a lunchtime yoga class)
Not that my body is really on board - I was wide awake from 0430 so got up at 0500 to walk the dog (who wasn't 100% keen on the idea and was dragging herself along yawning, which made me laugh! aren't dogs supposed to be keen for a walk at all times? isn't that part of their job description?!)

I didn't mean to quit posting for so long -- we were in a hotel for over a week due to sewer problems. Everything's fixed now and I've never been so grateful for functioning drains! I kept up on my exercise with some extra options at the hotel fitness center and with stretching in the hot tub.

My February Goal is 240 mins. of lifting.
4th = 30 m
8th = 30 m
11th = 30 m
14th = 30 m (total of 120 m) - Half way to Goal!
18th = 30 m
20th = 30 m --- Today is my birthday and I am wishing that the balloons make lifting a litter lighter today!
25th = 30 m -nip and tuck, had to change my routine because I over did deep knee bends. Something in my thigh/hip snapped - ouch!
27th = 30 m (Total of 240 m = February lifting GOAL achieved!)

We have more than 22" of snow on the ground and I haven't been able to go on a walk outside for a while now. Debating if I should challenge myself next month in aerobic mins. or steps/day?

ange82much & gardenerjoy - Congrats on meeting your exercise goal this month! I Know how much harder moving was for me with 2 feet of snow on the ground. If left to my own devices I would be hibernating, lol.

congrats workinglikeadog - I know what you mean about the quandary of weights v cardio and getting a good balance. Guess it doesn't matter which goals you pick - do whatever you feel like most in March then adjust again in April
