planned day off for me yesterday. I didn't eat much through the day but then had some chips at the football and some ice cream after dinner so definitely outside the norm. That's enough, in the mood now to get back to normal.

Snowmama - ha! re your 'friends' thoughtful comments. I had the same for a while, then the same people got used to how I now look and a few months later it was proper compliments, so I think people say things like that when they've noticed a change and it's not the You they know, so they're not judging you impartially but more on what they expect you to look like. The new you will be familiar to them soon enough!

Lacenta - sorry to hear you're getting the munchies! Hope you feel better soon and eat whatever's good for your recovery and don't believe everything those naughty voices are telling you!

JojoBreeze: I was on about 850 cal per day for 6 months last year whilst I was losing and lost steadily, so no 'starvation mode' worries for me. Must say I don't really believe in that (from my extensive experience of just myself lol) - i'm not saying it's a great plan to be so low either, but it worked for me, probably because i'm a short-arse and I wasn't doing any serious exercise at the time and I just wanted to get the job done asap. Everyone is different. Now i'm in maintenance I don't really know what my average would be - guessing about 1100 maybe, but that's probably about 900 most days and 1500-1800 for a couple of days at the weekend maybe. But i'm doing weights or cardio classes every day at the gym now. And i'm maintaining at 110 ish, which is a lot lower than where you're aiming since you're much taller.

frustrated101, MrsDeenz, maylay03, and JojoBreeze: Good to see some new names (or new to me, at least!) on the thread joining in...welcome!!

Lacerta: Thank you! Hoping that my body and the scale both cooperate this month, lol.

Follena: Oooh, Costa Rice...how fun!

Kdmay: That's a great and healthy goal to set.

Newlyn: Nice job hitting 30 lbs down! Even with the small bump back up, that is a great accomplishment and you'll be back under it in no time.

Ange, SnowMama, gardenerjoy, VickieLou, and sgregg: Hello to you guys, as well!

-------------------------------------------------

Hey guys! Getting a chance to catch up, so I'm taking advantage of it...lol. Fluctuating a bit so far this week, but I'm surprised I'm not up more today after eating well over my calories yesterday (over 700 cals above my limit!), so I'm taking it in stride. My husband and I might be going out to dinner tonight as well, so we'll see what happens on the scale tomorrow. Off to play some catch up on school work now...hope you all have a great Monday!

Towards the top end of where I've been the last week, but not bad for a Tuesday. Cooked up a load of veggies yesterday, but I can get through them fast these days so will need to stock up again soon. Felt a bit hungry last night, but just went for an extra cup of peppermint tea rather than the snack cupboard, so all on plan

Well...we did end up going out to dinner last night after all, and I am definitely paying for it today. So bloated! It doesn't help that I barely drank any water yesterday, either. So, I'll be focusing on lots of water and getting back into my normal calorie range today. Hope to start moving back down again tomorrow! Hope everyone's having a lovely Tuesday.

The weekly trend is doing it's thing. Down a bit today.

I still don't really really know how much I can eat in the week without gaining. Yesterday I had a museli bar in the afternoon and regarded it as an 'extra' but I don't really know if actually I could eat something like that every day for no penalty (I don't normally snack - just 3x meals). And i'm having more dressings/sauces and protein at meal times than I used to, but i'm at the gym pretty much every day so everything seems to be cancelling out and i'm staying steady. I know that's not something I can whinge about, but with such variety to my routine and the scales not really changing it's hard to know what I can 'get away with'. I guess my weekend gains tell me I can't get away with every day like that though!

Wednesday already!
