RRH: I know exactly what you mean. I feel the same way about 199. Originally I wanted to be there by December, but then I was way ahead of schedule, so I thought I could get there in November, but then I plateaued and then was slower, so here it is January and I'm still "approaching" it, so I feel like I've been almost there since November.
I'm back where I started. Hoping it is just bloat since I had Texas Roadhouse on Tuesday night.
I am back! I got so close to my goal - 140.8!! The divorce diet really works. Anyway, moved into my own place in October - lots of decorating and DIY so I was eating more. Went up a couple of pounds which wasn't too bad. But then came December and Christmas, lots of work buffets and parties, alcohol and chocolate. Ended up 156 at the beginning of January!! I'd managed to put on 16 lb, most of that in one month! I have lost a few of those 16 since then but I figure I'll jump back into the challenges to help me get back down.
I am absolutely surprised by this number today! I just have to keep reminding myself to stay the course. I turned away FREE cotton candy yesterday!! NSV!!
Hello all you Lovelies. I decided to opt out of this thread this time around since 3 daily threads is enough. But I’m dropping in to say how awesome you all are. Robsia the divorce weight loss plan ROCKS haha
Lacerta: this is the month we both get to our next milestone! sgregg: Wow! Look at you go, you're doing great! Robsia: Welcome back! Way to go on your 6lb loss so far this month, that's quite impressive! The rest will come off in no time, I'm sure of it! Follena: Sad to see you go, but I completely understand multiple threads being more than enough. Best of luck to you this month, please stop in and say hi to let us know how you're doing
SW is officially on the way out, for a continued whoosh over the next few days. Hope everyone has a good weekend and if anyone is in the path of those winter storms, please stay safe!
Lacerta, you are SO close! RRH, thanks, I am taking it day-by-day, minute-by-minute.
Sw: 227.8
cw: 223.8 (-4 )
gw: 222.8
No change this morning...I went to my parents' house last night and spent the night. My mom is THE best cook I know. I resisted all her goodies and only ate on plan with a few extra snacks to keep me from eating bad-for-me stuff. So, I am super proud of myself because I was worried about this before I went.
Whoosh. I did a happy dance around my house for about 10 minutes this morning. I'm not counting it as official until I see a weekly average under 200, but that is so exciting to see this morning.
I CANNOT BELIEVE I HIT THE 5LB MARK SO SOON! And it is exactly the goal weight for this challenge this time. Strange stuff...haha! So, this means I have to start the new challenge, right?
sgregg: Way to go on reaching your goal so quickly. And yes, you make the next challenge. Same name, just go up a number, and copy and paste the first post (with your numbers, of course). See you there.
