Congrats on the losses, flower, Lucy, Newlyn, Lacerta, and gardenerjoy!
Extra congrats on already hitting goal, flower!
I'm sorry you had a tough night, yangzter. How did things go? I've been hungrier than usual the past few days and ate beyond my goal.
Thanks, Lacerta! Even though I thought at the time that I was mostly kidding when I said Oct was a diet break, in retrospect I think I was also blowing the few days off-plan out of proportion. Thank you for putting it in perspective!
.....................................
I ate over my calorie goal on Sunday too, so I ended up finishing Week 2 well over my goal. Idk for sure why, but I was hungrier than usual a few days in a row last week. Today was the first day since last Wednesday that I ate back under my calorie goal. I think the extra hunger is over now. Just something I needed to get out of my system, I guess. Onward and, hopefully, downward.

Chunka: Thanks for the congrats. Your monthly average is very good and I agree with Lacerta that you only had a couple of higher days this month and when you look at the overall picture you are doing very well.
gardenerjoy: Way to go on staying in the 97s. You're really moving toward your goal for this month.
flower1: Way to go on meeting your goal so early this month. You're rocking it
Chunkahlunkah: Glad to see you back on track yesterday. Sometimes I have a period where I'm just famished as well. I try to listen to my body and take in a few extra calories those days (within reason, or even very occasionally, without reason). The trick is to keep it a temporary thing, and not spiral out of control. Good job.

Total Loss for Week Three:
My first look at the 217s. Yay! Today makes me feel like the scale is actually moving again, and I might finally have broken this plateau.
I really did use the cat to make the scale move this morning, then weighed myself for real. Lol. Thanks for the suggestion Lacerta and Chunkah. I wish I would have thought of that when I was in my long holding pattern. Some days I swear the scale was trolling me too, Newlyn. Weight is weird.
We ate really late last night and I bumped back up a little bit this morning to 146.2. My pants are all too big again and the next size is wearable but really tight. Thinking about trying rent the runway just so I don't have to buy a bunch of expensive or ill-fitting clothes for these in between sizes that I don't have a lot of. My go-to jean have been Old Navy, because they have some stretch and look decent without breaking the bank, but they don't fit me right in the smaller sizes. The waist and butt fit but the legs are big. I bought one pair of mid-range priced jeans that fit great but I can't bring myself to spend the money on another pair
that will fit for an unknown amount of time. It's a good problem to have when losing weight, I know, but it's frustrating. I have two work meeting I need to dress up for later this week on consecutive days and I'm going to have to go buy something and wash it overnight. Luckily it's for two different potential clients, so only our team will know I'm repeating my outfit. Lol.
1: 273.5 Post-TOM whoosh! Miffed that it didn't happen yesterday for my September goal, but happy that it gives me an early boost for October!
2: 273 There was obviously a bit more water to lose - my rings fit again!
3: 272
4: 271.5
5: 270.5 I didn't expect a loss today but there it is. Over a month it's 7 pounds, so not unreasonable, but 6.5 of those pounds have been lost in the last week. I guess that's what happens when you're sedentary for a long time and then suddenly you aren't.
6: 271
7: 271.5 Another bump up today. Totally expected, especially as I did very little yesterday.
Total loss for Week One: -4 pounds
.................................................. ...........................................
8: 273 Another bump! I did absolutely nothing yesterday except watch F1 and eat 2100 calories so although I know I didn't eat enough to put on 1.5 pounds, it's not a surprise. Back to university on Tuesday so all of this sitting around and eating lark will stop!
9: 273 No change today
10: 273 I think the scale is on strike!
11: 273 Yawn...
12: 273 How??? Go up, go down, just do something!!
13: 273 I'm being trolled by my scale...
Total loss for Week Two: +1.5 pounds
Total loss for October: -2.5 pounds
.................................................. .................................................. .......
14: 273.5 Yay!!! I don't care that it's gone up! It moved!
15: 272 Very unexpected! The only reason I can think of is that Fitbit says I'm due to ovulate tomorrow so I might have been holding onto water.
16: 273.5 Back up today but it was a pre-bathroom WI so who knows?
Newlyn: I think you shocked the scale yesterday by showing a number that didn't start with 273. It got scared, so jumped back into its comfort zone.
yangtzer: I'm always jealous when you post about swimming. I wish I could find someplace where I could get a lane. I had a gym membership, but I cancelled it because every time I would try to swim, there would already be 1 or 2 people in every lane, and I hate sharing a lane.
Snowmama: Losing weight can definitely be expensive when it comes to wardrobe. I'm lucky that I rarely have to dress up. Jeans in good shape and something nicer than a T-shirt is good enough for where I work. So my every day clothes and my work clothes are the same thing. Makes it a little less expensive for sure.

Total Loss for Week Three:
Actually kind of surprised I went down. I made bad choices for dinner, and was expecting to be back into the 218s today. Pleasant surprise.
Hey all! Thanks for the never-ending support! I haven't seen movement since that magical day but I know it'll come again! In fact, I am back up 4 lbs- haha I always bloat after a loss because I let myself have some delicious salt. I am optimistic I'll see below 180 soon!
Had a slight bump up today but happy I'm still in the 129s. I'm half way through my 12-week weight training program and I'm beginning to see changes in my body My trainer weighed me and I have gained a few pounds of muscle and lost fat so my lean body mass is increasing while my body fat is decreasing. I hope to see further changes in the next 6 weeks.
