September Challenge to Stay on Track and Avoid Binges

  • It's a new month and I am committing to no binging from today through the end of the month. The last two weeks of Aug were a disaster for me but I am committing to getting back on track today!

    KFunk & Flower: Thanks for the conrats on passing the test. I am so glad it's behind me so that I can focus on my weight loss journey. I hope you ladies are having a great day

    I think I need to log my food here for a while until I get back in the groove. I will also track on eTools the entire week.

    B: Banana, coffee, C skim milk
    L: Bean soup, tortilla chips w/home made guacamole
    D: More beansoup,
    S: Apple, kiwi, grapes

  • gettnfit- Thank you for starting the new thread!! I am also committed to a no binge September. I have been off track since the end of June and have gained about 22 lbs. back. I know a lot of that is water, so probably 10 lbs. of fat, but I can really tell a difference when I look in the mirror and also by how my clothes fit.

    My plan is to try to healthily get back to 155 by keeping around 1500 calories per day. Yesterday I ended the day at 1650 but that overage included my gummy vitamins and green grapes. I also would like to incorporate more veggies!!

    We are both going to have a good month. We will take it one day at a time. So far today has been good for me. I've stuck to my plan thus far.
  • Going strong here too, trying to figure out dinner. I have about 400 calories to work with.

    I did good until late in the afternoon when I gave into some croissants I had put in the freezer. All the red light foods are out of the house and I will not buy anything that will bring on a binge.

    Today is a new day and I WILL stay 100% OP.

    Here is the plan for today:

    B: Canadian bacon, apple, tea
    L: Bean soup
    D: shrimp,salad
    S: grapes, plum, coffee, skim milk, SF creamer
  • gettnfit- Great job getting all the tempting foods out of the house and for dusting yourself off and moving on! Shrimp salad looks really good!!

    Yesterday I finished the day with 1525 calories which was great! Today my husband and I went out for breakfast and I ate half of my entrée and I planned on eating 1/2 of a muffin, but I ended up finishing it (790 calories eeek!) So as of right now I am at 2002 calories and I am pretty sure that I will be eating dinner still... oopsie!!!
  • I made it through the day w/o any binges! To be sure I make it through the rest of the evening, I've brushed and flossed for the night so no more eating!

  • Kfunk I hope your day is going well. Today was my first day back at work since last Wednesday. I have been totally OP today and am feeling even stronger than yesterday. Now if the scale will just get back to where I was three weeks ago I'll be a happy camper.

  • Gettnfit- YAY!! You are about to have 2 solid days under your belt, way to go!!! How often are you weighing lately?

    Yesterday ended up being an absolute train wreck. I am disgusted with myself!!! Today has been better, but there is room for improvement for sure.

    Today has been good so far for me too. I just resisted cookies, brownies & rice crispy treats and I'm having lots of veggies, chicken and about 1/4 cup pasta. I gotta stay OP because I feel so much better physically.

    I hope all is good with you and I hope you survived the train wreck the other day.

    All is good with me. I did pretty good yesterday and the scale is almost back to where I was. I have plans for another good day today.
    I'm just so ready for it to be cooler so that I am motivated to get back out to walk at Stone Mountain. Today it's supposed to reach 90 with high humidity so all I can think about doing after work is going home to the AC.

    I had a good weekend and was doing very good today. My lunch was only 5 Points and then my co-worker brought me a cup cake to celebrate my passing the real estate course. I felt bad turning it down so of course I took it and ate it. I felt sick after eating all that sugar. I will not be doing that again. I'm forgiving myself for that slip up and moving on though.

    I did really good last week and started my walking back. I had trouble over the weekend with some binging on junk but I am back on track. I walked yesterday and plan on walking today. I am going to post my food for a few days to make sure I stay on point with my eating.

    B: WW Oatmeal, Coffee w/ 1/2 C skim milk, banana
    L: Salad, 1/2 chicken breast, Balsamic vinaigrette dressing, WW snack bar
    S: apple, WW popped chips, clementines
    D: Bean soup
    Exercise: Walk 30 mins
  • Had a great day yesterday and off to a great start today. No binges in a couple days now. Gotta keep it going.
