Huge congrats to those who surpassed their impressive goals last month! Big, BIG thanks to gardenerjoy for leading us and also thanks to those who participate!
I am keeping it modest, my goal is 700 minutes of intentional exercise, and I will add gardening minutes at a half rate.
May 01 - 48 min. weighted cardio and abs; 3 hours raking and gardening=90 min; 128/700
May 02 - 4 hours raking/gardening/hauling water=120 min; 248/700
May 03 - Leslie Sansone weighted cardio, 30 min; 278/700
I managed to crash my head on the nightstand when I was aiming for the pillow in the wee hours of Friday morning. So, I kept yesterday's exercise at the minimum. I'll aim to get a bit more in today, but nothing with forward bends because it makes my face hurt. Fortunately, it looks worse than it feels this morning.

I didn't make my steps goal yesterday, was about 2,000 under. At first, I was going to consider my steps goal lost for the month. Then I realized that was inflexible and counterproductive and that it would be smarter and healthier to simply reorganize. I'm going to revise my goal and make it a workweek average of 6,000 steps. It's unlikely that I'll ever be able to hit 6,000 steps on my Saturday shift. That one starts earlier than all of the others, so I can't fit in a walk before my shift starts that day. Without that walk, it's unrealistic that I can meet 6,000. So changing the goal to a workweek average will help me compensate for my low-step Saturdays on my other workdays.
gardenerjoy - Ouch, sorry about your injury! I hope you feel good as new soon.
