    ange82much: I'm glad the scales have heard you and started cooperating again! Maybe I will do the same with mine to see if I can convince them to finally let me get down into the 170s, lol.

    kfunk: The numbness is still there, but hasn't been as bothersome since Friday...hopefully that means it is starting to resolve itself, as well! Just weird to have a bit of a dead feeling there in the meantime, lol. And, I lost my drops over the last couple of days, but I'm hoping it's just some water retention from barely any water yesterday and having some indulgences over the last couple of days...we will see how that goes with some extra water in the plan today. You're doing great getting back down, by the way!


    momtopands: As I was saying to kfunk just up above, I lost my loss with some unexpected plans that popped up over the last couple days, but hoping to get it back today by rehydrating! Fingers crossed for a whoosh back on track in the next day or two...lol. Great work getting back down to your starting weight for the month, by the way...awesome recovery! And, 25 inches lost since January is amazing!

    Catching up for the last couple of days, we had a celebration out of town for a reenlistment for one of my husband's fellow soldiers at a famed saloon over in Tombstone on Friday (Big Nose Kate's, who was the girlfriend of the infamous Doc Holliday) and also went out of town on a daytrip to Tucson yesterday, which included going to the movies and eating some soft pretzels and frozen custard....so, needless to say, I'm not surprised to see a gain today at 182.8, and I'm just happy it's not more of a bump up on the scale. We did a lot of walking, so I'm thinking that helped mitigate the damage a little...but, I also hardly drank any water yesterday, so I'm going to drink it like a fish today to help rehydrate.

  • I don't think that number today is real - for dinner last night I shared a bucket of popcorn at the movies. I rarely eat at the movies, but I had a free popcorn for my birthday and I love popcorn - although movie popcorn is not my favorite.

    Ophelia You are still below where you started this week so that's great! Glad you enjoyed your weekend, treated yourself and still didn't have too much of a gain so it's a win!

    My weekend hasn't been too great. I've always known that eating out isn't the thing to do too much of if I want to be successful. I ate out all 3 days, well some items not all meals, but my body wasn't impressed. I also didn't feel like working out this past week but I did everyday but Friday and my body also missed that. Saturday night at work someone brought in hand made samosas which sat calling me until I had some. And Sunday I went out to eat Mexican, though I didn't overindulge, no dessert and only drank water. Somehow today I went down though so i'm really planning on staying on track, no eating out for a while. I do have my groove back with working out plus I am adding walking to my boot camp. I had a great walk today and plan to put my music back on and do it at least 3 times per week!

  • My goal is 5 pounds and as of today I'm down 2.6 pounds. So just over halfway there! I don't want to jinx it, but I think I might make goal this month. I haven't made my weight loss goal since last summer, I think, so I'd be really excited.

    kfunk: I will definitely join you! Maybe knowing someone else is aiming for that same goal with me today will help me actually hit the full gallon this time...lol. Only got a little over halfway there yesterday. We got this!


    momtopands: That is true...it could have been worse, considering how much fun we had. And, you're already recovering well from your meals out over the weekend, so I bet you'll do great this coming week!

    Well, the scale went in the wrong direction again, back up to 183.2 -- this time for no apparent reason. I'm thinking TOM might be starting in the next couple of days, looking at the calendar. I was excited to show a decent loss for the week, but it looks like I will have to log another slow week with the ill-timed gains. However, I'll be keeping my chin up as we move into a new week! We'll see if TOM shows up for Week Two...if so, I'm hoping it passes quickly and that the scale will give me back my whoosh by the end of the coming week.

    Well, i'm just weighing exactly the same every day at the moment. I'm pretty excited to have reached this weight in the first place, so really i'm super happy to see it every day anyway, but it's definitely stuck for longer than any weight previously, and the diet has been totally on plan. Must be heading in to the 'levelling out' zone?

  • Momtopands - I worked ED nights for many years. Now a day worker. I miss nights, but I don't miss the sleep disruption.
  • Ophelia - we saw the Avengers. It was awesome. Looks like my weight is sticking, and they are moving me at work away from the free food, so I will be able to better avoid temptation. But I did not get my act together with the meal plan again this week. So I have lunch but not dinner. Last night I just ate a bunch of random things, and I'm definitely deficient on vegetables.

  • momtopands Thank you. It is really impressive that you worked out so much last week even though you didn't feel like it. That is a huge victory!!! Working out always has been my weakness but I am going to have to find a way to turn that around if I want to fully embrace a healthier lifestyle. That will be so exciting to wear the white cotton shirt this summer! I dislike it when coworkers bring in treats, its so nice of them, but my willpower is only so strong!

    ophelia How did it go!? I ended up with over 120 ounces. Once I finished my 3rd 40 ounce bottle I stopped officially counting. This is getting freaky... my TOM started 2 days early this month, but its a little over a week early from a couple months ago. It is crazy that our bodies are on pretty much the same schedule. I hope that once it starts your body will release some of that water!

    ange You are doing so well!! I wouldn't say for sure that you are leveling out until you go for another couple weeks at the same weight. Everytime I think of eating something off plan I think of your pictures!! Just gotta get er done instead of prolonging things!!
