Gigi - after PROMISING myself I would NOT weigh until May, of course I stepped on the scale last night....and yes, I am FIVE POUNDS up from when I left. Sheesh.

It is what it is.

I am aiming to lose 8 lbs by (sometime in) June, so back to low-carbing and making sure my calories are about 500 less, per day, then maintenance. Sigh.

I think I will also try and squeeze in a workout tonight after work. The sooner I just get back to "routine" the better it will be in the long run. I did sleep through the night, last night, which felt GREAT! That normally does not happen unless I have actually exercised, so that was a one-off luxury. I want good slumber to continue....which really, for me, means back to the gym with fiendish regularity.

Tonight is step-cardio. Tomorrow is yoga. Friday is weight-lifting. Saturday is step-cardio. Sunday is badminton. So, I am set for the next 5 days. GOOD.

Hi everyone! I have been off track and working on getting back on.
This is definitely the most I have struggled since I started. It kind of feels like since I can see my end goal is in sight, I've been on a self sabotage path.

166.7

Seeing everyone else get back on track is so helpful!!

boop Its hard being so close to goal! It doesn't help that I feel comfortable at this weight, but would still like to make it to 140. I know that some people take maintenance breaks, what are your thoughts on that? Take it one day at a time and pretty soon you will be right back on track, and the water will whoosh away and hopefully give you some oomph to keep going!!

kfunk - I kind of hope that I am back to where I should be by the end of April (after my vacation-tastiness).

boopchick - just start. Does not matter, for today, to do more than just start. You are WONDERFUL!

I did get my yoga time in, today. And ate pure protein for lunch. I am hoping to repeat at dinner and then shut-down the pie-hole.

Chin up, fork down!

Thanks beeps and kfunk. I am trying to do better each day. Yesterday I tracked and today my weight is down to 165.8
I have considered taking a maintenance break kfunk. Taking it day by day...

Good for you for tracking, boopchick. I tracked from Jan - March....took a break for April....but am weighing 1 x per week and tape-measuring every 2 weeks.

kfunk - yep, I even weight-lifted today! So BOOM for me! Mind you, my IT band is REALLY sore and I can feel all my muscles swollen with water. So, my weigh-in tomorrow will likely be terrible.

Still, I can whittle away for the next little while and still feel like I will get there by summer. Realistic.

beeps Awesome job on the weightlifting!! I really enjoy that sore feeling, it makes me feel so productive! I hope the scale is kind to you, but if not at least you know why!

Well, the scale was NOT as bad as I predicted on Wednesday, lol. So, that part is good. I have updated my ticker, so I am honest abe.

I could BARELY lift my legs today. My IT Band is really, really sore. This is EXACTLY why I never, ever, ever take exercise breaks! the whole "back-on-track" thing is just too, too painful.

My cardio session was pretty flaky, today, because my legs are so, so sore.

Sigh.

I will force myself to do weights on Sunday. Even if I only get 2 sets in....I have to get down to business and push through all this nonsense DOMs to then get to feeling good about all of this.

I will also make sure that my diet is on-point. I really do want to lose 5 lbs by June, so there is not a lot of room for error, here. Protein and veggies. That's it and that is all.

...I did not do weights yesterday. Oh well.

I am going to a cardio class after work, today.

I ate a salad at lunch (dressing on the side - only dipped my fork in twice!) and also a piece of salmon.

Hello all,

I have been working out on the weekends pretty consistently the past few weeks.
During weeknights it’s been a no go mainly because of my office workload.
It’s quieted down a bit this week so I will be pushing myself to go. I always feel great and proud when I’ve made it through my fitness classes.

Food-wise I had some days in a row where I just did very poorly amd the scale moved in the wrong direction. But I’ve been back on track now since Saturday and doing much better.

Hey!! How is everyone doing?

I'm doing good so far! I started working out last week first doing the Killer Cardio by Jillian Michaels, man I could only do the first 10 minutes then moved on to 30 Day Shred which I did before for about 14-15 minutes until the DVD started freezing up so I called it good, LOL. The next day, I did complete 30 Day Shred. I didn't do anymore until today, I did about 20 minutes (3 miles) of cycling. I gotta get things moving so I can win my bet by the near end of July.

I'm off tomorrow so I may do an hour on the elliptical and catch up around the house.

beeps I hope that you aren't as sore anymore! Great job with the salad dressing!!

panda That is awesome that you are getting in the workouts in between a busy work schedule! Its amazing how a string of days on plan can do for our mindsets, great job!

amandie Hi! I have done the 30DS and it is HARD! I can't imagine how difficult her killer cardio would be! It sounds like you are well on your way to winning your bet! How is the diet portion going?
