ange82much & flower1: Thank you! Hopefully, I will the new decade again tomorrow...

Sum38: Glad you got your whoosh!

---------------------------------

Today's weigh-in was up a bit more than I expected, back up to 190.4...so, I didn't stay down in the 180s very long, but hoping I will get back to them tomorrow! I ended up getting in the 5 miles instead of 3 afterall and was on plan with both my food and water yesterday, so I'm sure it's because it's a post-full day instead of a post-fast day, and I will watch for trends and learn from them as I continue onto my second round of 5:2 next week. For now, I'm hoping I go back down a little tomorrow, since my DietBet ends and I'm now a few ounces above the goal line. I'm not stressed like I was last time, because I'm hoping this is just a temporary bump since yesterday was so much lower. We shall see!

And, Happy Saint Patrick's Day! No plans here for us, just another day other than everyone wearing a bit more green -- it's my favorite color and one I wear pretty often, so it's just a normal day for me, haha. Though, I may get the kids some of those chocolate coins for fun, because they love those.

vdh What a great loss this week!!

sum Great job staying on track as you wait for your whoosh, you are close to your goal already!!

flower nice loss!!

ange I hope that it sticks, you are doing great while traveling!!

vickie you are doing great this month so far!

momtopands I hope that you are doing well!

adorablebookworm You are so close!! The salt water aquarium sounds like fun!

ophelia You are doing so great!! I hope that you are able to shed those last few ounces so you can weigh in and win your diet bet tomorrow!! I will let you know if we end up going south, same for you, although there isn't much of a reason to head up towards the Midwest! I did spend almost all day at mall of America with the family in Nickelodeon Universe and there is almost every store you can think of at the mall to shop for when you hit goal, just sayin

Well, I did it again yesterday... everything was going great until dinnertime and then I lost my resolve. Today was tough but I made it through. I am just chalking this up to a TOM moment, and will make sure that I truly do finish up the month strong!

kfunk: I hit it, but I was wrong about the weigh-in day...it's tomorrow, so I'm just going to stay the course and hope it stays down again in the morning, lol. And, I will let you know if we ever make it up there or to the Mall of America! Being a military family, you never know where you'll end up or when... And, I hope you get a big post-TOM whoosh when the cycle is over!

---------------------------------

Today's weigh-in was back down a little to 189.2...so, that means I got back below my goal line for the DietBet, but I was mistaken -- the final weigh-ins are tomorrow, not today. So, I'm just going to be on plan all day as usual, make sure I get in a workout since it was a rest day yesterday, and hope it's still good tomorrow, as well. I did finally get myself signed up for the next DietBet with Lexi today, and that starts tomorrow, so at least that is all squared away and ready to go.

I hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday!

Ophelia great job on getting into a new decade! Fingers crossed you'll keep it tomorrow!

flower nice loss!

kfunk That stupid TOM is the bane of my existence as well! You'll get it back off!

Well I haven't had the best weekend. Didn't go off plan, just feeling bloated and miserable. Ovulation not pleasant at all. I know I haven't had nearly enough water plus i'm retaining water. It's just been a miserable couple of days. And of course I didn't get to stay in the new decade but hopefully i'll get back there soon. Hopefully a good night's rest, and no work tomorrow, will get me back on track. I did have some girl scout cookies today, which I knew better than to have on my bed, lol. Only good thing I can say about that is that now they're gone!

Great job this week everyone! I live in Nashville and my cousin was visiting on a bachelor party so I ended up blowing the low-carb thing and going way overboard with the alcohol on Friday night, which bled into Waffle House for breakfast on Saturday in addition to lots of other very off-limits things throughout the rest of the day. Trying to get back on board yesterday and today because my weight yesterday not only showed I gained back all I lost last week but was actually higher than what it was when I started -- yikes! I'm chalking it up to TOM + salt + hangover bloat and hoping that after a couple of days of being back on track it will go back down. I can be so good during the week but I've really found that weekends are the hardest for me - it's not even the food but the drinks with friends (which also inevitably lead to poor food choices). I'm in my last semester of law school and don't want to sacrifice times out with my friends but it is so hard to stay on top of myself when I'm out. I'm hoping I can do better this week.

Congrats to everyone who had losses this week -- lots of hard work on this thread!

kfunk: Thank you!

momtopands: Thank you...it went up just a tad, but I was still under my goal for the DietBet, so I still won! I'm sorry your weekend was so rough with the bloating and feeling bleh. I'm glad you're feeling better today though and got back down into your new decade!

flower1: Nice loss!

vdh2102: TOM + sodium + alcohol/hangover bloat is definitely the perfect recipe for a nasty bump on the scale, but I'd bet - once you get all that bloating flushed away - you will get most, if not all, of that gain back down in no time. Here's to a better week in preparation for next weekend...you can do it!

---------------------------------

Today's weigh-in was up a tiny bit to 189.4, which still kept me just below goal for the DietBet weigh-in today...whew! Today is a fasting day for 5:2, so I'm probably just going to take a rest day and focus on staying under my cals and getting all my water in. Hope everyone is having a good start to their week!

momtopands Glad that you dropped back down, I hate how I feel around ovulation time and it always comes with sassy scale readings.

flower nice drop!!

vdh Try to drink extra water and the water weight should be gone soon! It sounds like you had a great time!! I also have no problem doing great during the week, but there is so much added temptation on the weekends!

ophelia on winning your diet bet!! What do you normally eat on the 5:2 days?

Ophelia Congrats on winning your dietbet! You're doing great this month!

vdh2012 It's very hard to stay on plan with those types of unexpected activities. You'll get back on track and get it back off in no time!

kunk You're doing great, consistently getting down toward your lowest point, even with TOM! While i'm not looking forward to TOM to end the month i'm going to stay on track(and at least that ovulation misery is gone!)

Well i'm finally back down past where I started this week! Just staying on plan and added walking to my days.
