I ate a lot yesterday. Happy to see no gain today. I'm off from work today so slept in late and have some busy work planned around the house. Hope everyone has a nice day.
Another drop today. I didn't eat my maximum calories the last 2 days so I think this is where the drop is coming from. I was really tempted last night to eat more after 10 pm but lately I've been trying not to eat after that(except work nights of course).

I see some of you insert nice little pictures to your posts. I would like to do this too but I'm not sure how to do it. Can someone please tell me how to do this. Thanks

These last couple of days have not gone wonderfully, eating-wise. For example, last night I drank too much wine, both from a calories and liver perspective. Whoops. I can do better this week, I guess!
momtopands: Unexpected losses are my favorite part of the process! Haha. And, congrats on another couple drops for you, as well. You're doing amazing this week!
Kim: I hope you have a nice day today as well and that you get everything you have planned around the house done!
flower1: About posting an image, there should be a little selection of icons next to the text format options above your reply box. A little globe with a link (for inserting links), a pale yellow square that looks a little bit like a postcard with a mountain on it (you click on this one to insert a photo), and then a little text bubble image for doing a quote. (You will have even more options if you click on "Go Advanced" instead of "Post Quick Reply", but that little pale yellow square I described is the one you're looking for.) Hope that helps!
SantaClaritaDiet: I always get a bump up on the scale if I have any alcohol, so it's good that you at least maintained, considering! (We have a big bottle of moscato in the refrigerator that we've had since NYE, and I've been too afraid to pop it open for that reason, lol.) Hoping you have an easier time with the cals this coming week...you can do it!
Holding steady at 195.0 today and totally okay with that, considering how much I have been yoyo'ing this month. I had another lower water intake day yesterday since the day was busier than expected, but I did get a nice 4 mile walk in late in the afternoon. Food was on-plan, but I experimented with going to the top-end of my range to see if eating more calories is what I need to be doing to avoid the yoyo/plateauing. The way my body reacted to eating over 2k calories the other night was surprising, so I am playing with cycling higher cal days (still within my typical range, not cheat day range) with lower cal days to see if that helps keep my body from adjusting to only lower and lower cals. We'll see. I always try to do these experiments and end up chickening out and pulling back as soon as I see any kind of gain start, lol.

ophelia I think you should stick rigidly to your experiment this time, because I want to know what the results are hahaha!! I'm interested in doing something similar myself when I start to see less results from my current plan. I guess this is a milder version of the 5:2 diet principle, which seems to work for a lot of people? santaclarita Yes, wine (or lack thereof) has been the toughest part of my year so far. Have only had I think max 5 glasses since Jan 5th - i'd normally guzzle more than that every week! Got a few more social events coming up soon too when it's going to be semi-rude not to join in, so I need to decide an advanced plan for each of those. Sigh.
It looks like you're making a little progress, gardenerjoy - way to go!
ophelia and ange82much - Yeah, I kinda slipped up with my four glasses of wine (yikes!) that night, but will be wine-free at least until the weekend. Honestly, the extra calories from wine just don't fit into my life, right now. If I really want to "cycle up" my calories here and there, I think I'd rather spend it on something solid!
