My goal for Jan. is 600 minutes of intentional exercise.

It looks like everyone is getting lots of exercise. As for myself, I have been a slug since the new year started and seem to be lacking in motivation. I am going to try to push myself to get back on track.

Jan-01: 25 min walking (25/600)
Jan-08: 30 min walking (55/600)

I ended up with stomach distress yesterday. I thought that was going to be the end of my 18-month daily exercise streak. Then, I remembered that one of my yoga DVDs, Yoga for Stress Relief. has routines for stomach issues.

I’m really bad at being sick. Once I’ve decided that staying in bed will do more harm than good (causes insomnia and muscle aches), I don’t know what to do with myself. It was nice to have someone else tell me what to do for 30 minutes.

January goals: 1200 minutes, 15 DVDs

1: 10 march, 30 mixed; 40/1200, 1/15 DVD
2: 50 yoga; 90/1200, 2/15 DVD
3: 40 dance; 130/1200
4: 15 dance, 30 yoga; 175/1200, 3/15 DVD
5: 10 ST; 185/1200, 4/15 DVD
6: 35 yoga; 220/1200, 5/15 DVD
7: 20 walk, 25 mixed; 265/1200, 6/15 DVD
8: 30 yoga; 295/1200, 7/15 DVD

Jan. 02 - Shelly Dose and Leslie Sansone weighted cardio, 45 min./75
Jan. 03- 0
Jan. 04 - Jillian Michaels dvd, 30 min./115 min.
Jan. 05 - ugh! 2 hours shoveling, count as 60 min; 175 min.
Jan. 06 - 0
Jan. 07 - Leslie Sansone weighted cardio, 30 min; 210 min.
Jan. 08 - ugh again at over 2 hours shoveling, count as 60 min; 270 min.
Jan. 09 - ugh AGAIN at shoveling, one hour, count as 30 min; 300 min. I guess it's classified as weighted cardio

Gardenerjoy, sorry to hear of the stomach distress, but yay for dealing with it through yoga!
