Weigh-in was 218.0 today. I ended up doing 5 miles last night and tried jogging off and on for the whole first mile...I'm definitely no where near a runner yet, but it helped shake things up a bit. I need to work on my breathing a little more, but I can feel the stamina slowly increasing underneath my inability to catch my breath properly...lol. The rest of the weekdays may be a little sketchy trying to get my walks in at all between doctors appointments this afternoon and two Christmas concerts for the kids and the oldest volunteering at a school chorus performance spread out over the next few nights, so I'm glad I went a little extra last night. Hope to find some time to get out over the next few days earlier in the day to avoid not being able to go at all...we will see! I know it's not happening today, but I think I should be able to plan some time for the rest of the week.

The second concert that I thought was tonight is actually tomorrow and the other doctor's appointment for the afternoon was moved up to this morning from a call-in, so I won't have any issues heading out tonight! Maybe the universe heard me and moved some things around to make it more possible, haha. :running:

Ladies, please send some will power dust towards my way. I just moved home and it's been a disaster as far as my eating is concerned. I've eaten many things I shouldn't including a family size bag of chips today :(. I'll stay away from the scale for a while until I feel like I've gotten this eating under control.

chub: That's a tough situation for so many reasons. Would it help to think through ways to structure your days? When everything changes, what seemed easy can get hard and vice versa. Dealing with the new hard parts and seizing the new opportunities may take a process of identifying what works, what doesn't, what worked before, what didn't, and mashing it all up into a new plan for how to live and eat.

blaaargh, it's amazing how one food choice can tip the scale in the wrong direction :/
on a positive note, i have not skipped gym at all this week, I need to figure out my exercise goals. Right now all I do in the gym in cardio.

kfunk: So, I was randomly thinking about that The New Rules of Lifting for Women book again today, especially now that I'm slowly inching closer to Onederland...but, I can't remember, did you ever get really into that and try it out?? I know we had talked about it back in the Spring when you were talking about starting it, but it's been so long now (especially since I ended up going MIA for a few months between June-September) that I can't recall what happened with that, lol.

I feel like I've been keeping a pretty consistent pattern of ending the week on a bump back up most weeks...not sure why that is, lol. However, my weigh-in of 218.0 today still means I am down 2.6 lbs for Week One of December, so I am happy. :yes:

owlish Congrats on getting in a full week of workouts, that is a big accomplishment!!!

ophelia pffft... I never even finished reading it! You can have it if you want, I can send it to you. I suck hard at all things related to working out ;) Even with the little bump up at the end you had an awesome week!!

I had a little increase today and I am guessing it had to do with the holiday work lunch yesterday. I think that should be it until our Christmas celebrations, so I am hoping to pick up some steam!
