I started a 30 day nutritional cleanse program on 10/2/17. I've done this program before and loss 45lbs. It's easy to follow, teaching me to monitor what I eat and I'm already seeing results. I'm excited to see how close to my goal I can reach by the end of the month. Anyone looking for an effective nutritional program let me know.
I'm joining a little late this month. I'm back from vacation. My low last month was 140.0. Today I'm at 142.2. It was a foodie vacation. Fortunately there was also many miles of walking, or the gain probably would've been twice that! Back to the real world now.
SW: 142.2
GW: 139.2 Goal: 3 pounds
I've been chasing the 130s for a couple months now. I'm determined to get there in October!
Hey everyone! This week has been an extremely busy week with friends coming to town, a couple birthday parties (one of which I will be going to tonight), and running the kids around for school stuff. So, I'm sorry I haven't been posting since the first day...but, I've been keeping track all along. With TOM settling down at the beginning of the week -- on top of the usual "first week back" de-puffing -- I had a big whoosh from the bloat all going down, so that helped a lot. It may not be "real" weight, but it helps to see that number going down all the same...lol. And, considering that we went out to eat for the three nights while our friends were visiting and then had pizza and a couple bites of cake at the birthday party the other night, it has been a relief to see that movement on the scale. I was worried I would be completely sabotaging my first week in to my fresh start with everything going on, but I tried balancing out the indulgences during the days as much as I could.
Anyways, thank you for the welcome back, kfunk...I hope you and everyone else are doing great so far. I should be back on track for catching up and posting every day (or most days) from now on. Hugs all around!

ophelia Holy cow, that is very busy! I am so excited for you that you had such an amazing week and were able to live normally while doing so!!! I am really glad that you are back, I don't think you realize how much of an inspiration you have been to me throughout this!!
My husband and I went out on a date last night and I ate a very big meal, so big that I haven't even needed breakfast yet!! I am assuming that the scale will go up some more before it starts to come down again. I am going to start counting my carbs and transitioning to a low carb approach. I hope that goes well, but I just measured out my coffee creamer and stuck to 2 tbsp. for 10g of carb, and I can barely taste the creamer, I must usually use double that!
