Sooo, my pants just literally fell down in the park. Which would be unfortunate if anyone else had been there but I was alone. They've been barely catching at my hips so I ignore the falling down feeling, big mistake it seems. Something so just awesome about that baggy butt gangsta look I've had going on lol.
So I ordered some new pants, was trying to avoid until I was down more but had to happen. Just quick weight update today, so nice to be outside again, weather brightened up a bit finally! Nightsnacker and Ophelia I took measurements last night before I started so I wont get discouraged while the scale stalls! I haven't had time to read much of the book, but decided to start anyways. My husband is pretty knowledgeable in this area so I am lucky to have him help me! Last night I focused on my core and upper body and it went well! I was up way past my bed time though! I am a bit sore today, but expect to be much worse tomorrow!

Opheliapheonix Sounds like some first rate schedule messes there, hope you got a little "you" time in. kfunk I'm so jealous that you have a built in personal trainer! I got barbells and weights and went hmm, "google help!" Which has led to a really sore shoulder because I did wayyyy too much weight with shoulder flys. Still been a rough week but hopefully it turns around. The biggest accomplishment, though, is that I haven't binged throughout this whole time. Normally bad weeks for me usually result in tons of junk food.

My period ran from Thursday last week to Tuesday this week, and though my weight loss did slow down when it started, it never totally stopped. Well, once it finally ended, that's when the plateau hit. Result: I didn't get that exciting post-period water weight loss in the time frame I was hoping to see it. It was only this very morning that I dropped down under 173. So, this means that I'm still sitting 2 pounds over my goal for this thread. But you know, I'm finding I'm pretty much okay with that. As long as I keep losing at this rate, I will definitely see 170 by the date of my Big Deadline: April 9, opening night. If I'm lucky, I'll finally drop the water weight, and it'll happen fast. That's what I'm hoping will happen, because if I stall out again this week, I'm not going to reach my goal. But you know, even if I don't reach my number goal, I'll still have met the spirit of my goal. I'm within two pounds (as of today) of the actual number. I'm feeling a lot healthier and happier with my body, and I rock my costume for the show. ;) My exact words were that I don't want to look like a whale on stage, and I've achieved that. I'm very happy where this has taken me. |
