I'm here, busy thread already, as expected this time of year. I may change my goal, as it may come quickly as the holiday water weight comes off, but since I have set 175 a couple times before and not made it, that's my goal.

GardnerJoy - As always, thank you for the consistency of starting and monitoring this thread!

I have done some pretty casual goals, and am generally going in the right direction, so it has worked for me. But I am going to join the January weight loss craze, and am going to hard-core commit to some goals this month. For the month of January (starting today), I will limit my sugar-centric foods to ONE FiberOne 90-calorie treat each day. This will be very hard for me, and I am not committing beyond January, but the sugar creep has got to stop.

My goal for this month is 10 pounds. Since I only have 28 days to do it, it's a huge goal. But it will put me within spitting distance of my ticker goal -- set in 2012, I believe. It is ON.

shea5 and boatingmommy - Great losses...congrats!

Yesterday was my first fully on-plan day, both food and water wise, so I am super happy about that...it was the first time in 2.5 years where I actually paid attention to what was on my plate and didn't just grab what happened to sound good at the time, haha. I've been a little hungrier than usual this morning, but I imagine I will have to give myself some time to adjust to not eating super late at night and right before bed like I was in the bad habit of doing. Drinking more water is helping take the edge off the extra hunger, so that's a win-win...especially since I think it is helping start some water weight flushing, because my weigh-in for today was down to 292! I know it's not "real" weight, but I'm still thrilled to see that number starting to move down, lol.

I would like to join this challenge to keep myself accountable and to lose the last few pounds. I lost about 40 pounds in 2016 but I've been struggling for the past couple of months to get the last few pounds off. Good luck everyone!

Welcome everybody new!

Rough day yesterday, but even when I'm overeating, I'm trying to stay conscious of the choices I'm making and avoid the worse ones. Its not much but these habits will take time. Rome wasn't built in a day, as they say. I'm going to start adding my BF from my tanita: although I know it isn't fully accurate I would like to see the trend line.

boatingmommy: Good work on the exercise! I need to follow suit today and get some kind of work out in while the little one naps. Otherwise, I will just feel like napping too which won't do me any good...lol.

Yesterday was on-plan and I got a good amount of water in, but I want to work on getting some more in today. Exceeding the daily minimum is making me happy, but - at my weight - I need to be drinking about THREE TIMES the average minimum...which I haven't been able to hit yet. Need to start doing some light activities too so I can get a feel for what more in-depth exercises I can start doing. Going to work on that today as well. Weigh-in was 290.6 today, so that water is still coming off...yay! Hope that keeps up.
