June Exercise Challenge
 
Let's make the most of the lovely days of summer -- with great workouts!

State your exercise goal and track it throughout the month with this supportive group of fellow exercisers. We'll compile our workout goals into a list. As each goal is met during the month, it gets turned RED in celebration.

I "think" I may have achieved my lowliest May goal, but I did not track....and, you know, "if you didn't see it on the internet, it didn't happen". ha

June's mosquito goal: 12 visits to the pool
June bug goal: 16 visits to the pool
Texas tarantula goal: 20 visits to the pool

Last month I did 1,500 minutes, but I'm going to have to reduce that because I go in for surgery on June 22. Nothing major, but I won't be able to walk/exercise for a few weeks after surgery. With that in mind, I will set my June goal at 1,000 minutes!

June goal walking 300 minutes

04 - 75 minutes - walking in Walmart (it was actually 1 3/4 hours ... but, I shaved off some time. The BEST and GREATEST THING!! My knee did NOT HURT!!! Hallelujah!

I'm goaling myself for 1200 minutes this month. DH and I are walking a 5K in less than 2 weeks. We've never done anything like this before and are super excited!!
June 1: 40 minute treadmill, 5 minute kettlebell = 45 minutes + 30 min tread = 75 minutes total for day
June 2: 30 treadmill, 10 kettlebell, 5 stretch = 45 minutes
June 3 :
June 4: 55 minutes treadmill + 5 minute kettlebell - 60 minutes
June 5: 45 minutes treadmill + 5 minute kettlebell - 50 minutes
June 6: 40 minutes treadmill + 5 minute kettlebell - 45 minutes
June 7: 50 minutes treadmill + 10 minute kettlebell - 60 minutes
June 8: 30 minutes treadmill
June 9: 30 minutes treadmill + 5 minute Kettlebell - 35 minutes
June 10: 60 minutes treadmill (tomorrow is our 5K - wasn't going to do any exercise, obviously changed my mind :))
June 11: 90 minutes
June 12:
June 13: 35 minutes treadmill + 10 minutes Kettlebell = 45 minutes
June 14: 60 treadmill
June 15: 35 treadmill
June 16: 35 treadmill

Monthly total - 725 minutes...Feeling good :)

6/1-66 mins walking, c25k w1d1 38 mins, yoga and abs 25 mins 129/1500, 1/21
6/2-62 mins walking, 25 mins weights and abs, yoga 20 mins 107+129=236/1500, 2/21

Long day at work today, so I only had time for my morning workout in my gym.

Total to date: 30 minutes
Goal: 1,000 minutes

Jun 1: 15 min treadmill + 15 min elliptical (30/30)
