Movement at long last! :dancer:
I kept my carbs really low yesterday (about 20) and I finally broke free of 187.75, where I've been stuck for more than a week. I’m not sure whether the really low carbs helped or if I would have moved in any event, but I will keep the carbs really low again today and see what happens. I have a few more really low carb/low calorie recipes that I can try, including a 5-minute, no-noodles lasagna, which is yummy! Goal weight: 138.8 lbs 4/01 - 142.8 lbs 4/02 - 142.4 lbs 4/03 - DNW 4/04 - 144.4 lbs, late pasta dinner 4/05 - 142.4 lbs, almost back to normal :) 4/06 - DNW 4/07 - 141.8 lbs, one pound down.....three to go! 4/08 - 139.8 lbs, big whoosh today.....one to go! 4/09 - 140.8 lbs, late night pub food....puffy town today 4/10 - 140.6 lbs, not bad after a giant steak dinner last night, back on the wagon tomorrow with the start of the work week 4/11 - 140.4 lbs 4/12 - 141.4 lbs, pasta AND potatoes yesterday (and I'm afraid again today...leftovers, that or AF is on her way 4/13 - 141.4 lbs, a repeat of yesterday because I ate the same thing :) 4/14 - 141.4 lbs, I cleaned up my act (a little) and even went to yoga.....hopefully my "whoosh" will happen tomorrow 4/15 - 140.2 lbs, need to drain +0.4 by the morning |

I too sat at 187.75 (or slightly higher) for over a week, despite staying on plan. It can be very frustrating, and you start to wonder if you’ll ever move. When that happens, I try to shake things up a bit. I don’t know if this will work for you, but I cut my carbs drastically (to below 20) for a few days…and that got me moving again. In any event, fingers crossed that you start to see some movement soon. :crossed: |
