Evening all. Monday's steps: 10,673. Yesterday's steps: 10,589.
I was headed for very high steps yesterday, since I was above 10,000 mid-afternoon...but then I twisted my ankle, which kept me in my chair for the rest of the day. Fortunately, my ankle felt a lot better today.
Welcome noshoes! Although you might need shoes for all those steps!
Laura: Great progress on the steps!
lovemylife: I'm glad to see I'm not the only dancing fool!

Yesterday's steps 10,758, which isn't too bad given my ankle was still sore half of the day.
lovemylife: Good job on the steps! Our weather this weekend will be very similar to yours, and I plan on seriously upping my steps as well. I will be going to several of my favorite walking trails beside the Lake and this will be me:

Evening all. Yesterday's steps were 13,535 with 94 active minutes. A 1.5 mile walk at lunchtime is what boosted my steps.
Tuscany - Ouch re your twisted your ankle! Glad it was better today. Enjoy your walk along the trails this weekend.
Trina - Great steps! I bet Hazel's gonna enjoy the extra outdoor time this weekend.
Have a good Friday & a good weekend!!

Thursday's steps: 11,423. Yesterday's steps: 10,059 (I needed to dance in the living room and run around the kitchen to get there!). Today's steps will be a cinch given what the weatherman has in store!
lovemylife: Great steps! You sound very excited about the weather...I know how you feel. It's been a long time coming! Enjoy it!
Laura: Terrific job on the steps. I need to get my behind in gear to keep up with you guys!
Have a great Saturday...back in the morning!

Afternoon all. Great job on the steps Tuscany & Trina!! Hope you're enjoying the weather this weekend.
Thursday's steps were 9,966 with 66 active minutes. I could have sworn I'd get 34 more steps that night - guess I need to be more diligent.
Friday's steps were 12,096 with 65 active minutes.
I think I'll get out in the yard for a bit of cleanup today, and doggy & I will also go for a walk along the creek.

Hi all! Love your challenge! Ok if I join in? :-)
I'm not up to consistent 10,000 steps right now but my goal for April is 8,000 steps a day. Friday was 11,132 (lots of gardening ahead of our big snowstorm) and then I was able to eek out 8,349 yesterday. I'm enjoying a cup of coffee right now and then I'll go out to shovel snow for a bit.
Have a great day!

Welcome gabbs! Glad to have you on board. Shoveling snow! I have a hard time getting to 10,000 steps when there's snow on the ground. Thankfully, our last snow seems to have fallen last week and it's now starting to warm up where I am.
lovemylife & Laura: Hope you ladies are enjoying the weekend!
Yesterday's steps: 12,028. It wasn't as warm as it was supposed to be. The weatherman predicted 16C (61F) and it was about 10C (50F). I took my walk along the Lake, but I had planned to sit and read for a while and then do another walk. It was too cold to sit...so I came home. Today looks like it might be a bit warmer. Fingers crossed.
Off to get in my steps...be back tomorrow.

Morning, all! It was a beautiful day yesterday and I went for another walk beside our Lake. At the end of the walk, I was tired and my feet were sore, which means I need to get out more and get in better shape! This is what our winters do to me.
Yesterday's steps: 13,402.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Good Late Evening Everyone
Hope that everyone had a great weekend and start to their week Saturday's steps were 9,088, Sunday's 11,019 and today's were 12,463
gabbs to our thread. Great job on your steps I hope to not see anymore snow were I'm at this year lol, fingers crossed.
Tuscany We also had beautiful weather this weekend as well, close to 80 degrees. Today's weather was upper 70's. I'm so glad that Spring has finally sprung lol. I can really get my steps in now.
Laura on your steps. How did the yard clean up go? I went out this weekend as well to work in the yard, but there wasn't much to do lol. I had my Fall clean up done so late last year, it looks pretty good still. I just need to clean out the flower beds a bit and that's about it.
Hope that everyone has a great Tuesday. I'll be back tomorrow

Morning all.
Saturday 7,439 steps 25 active min.
Sunday 9,252 steps, 24 active min.
Monday 8,207 steps, 51 active min.
Yesterday I rode my bike between home and the train for the first time of the season this year. I guess I definitely won't get as many steps by riding the bike, even though I do wear my flex on my ankle. Or maybe I did too much coasting yesterday!
Trina - Wow, great steps for you. I didn't do that much cleanup in the yard over the weekend - like you, not all that much to do out there. On Saturday I cut the old blooms off of some perennials from last fall (hosta & sedum). Yesterday after work I raked up some leaves in the garden bed alongside the garage. Not much more to do now.
Tuscany - Nice you were out walking by the lake. I took doggy for a walk on Saturday by a nearby creek. Well, maybe it started off as a natural creek, but now it's used for storm water runoff as well. What's nice is that it has a large green space on both sides that's good for walking and a couple foot bridges so we can cross over at certain points.
Gabbs - Ugh, snow shoveling in April. I hope that's the last of it for your area.
Have a great day everyone!

Afternoon all. Yesterday's steps were 11,780 with 66 active minutes. I took a long-ish walk at lunchtime to pick up a bike basket I found on Craigslist. It was nice that the seller was located downtown so I could do that at lunchtime. It's nice to have a basket on my bike to throw my purse into. I'm fine riding with my backpack, but pedaling with the purse hanging over my shoulder under my backpack strap is awkward.
Hope everyone's having a good day and getting their steps in!

Laura on your steps. That's awesome about the bike basket. I remember when my son first saw me right a bike. He said mom I didn't know that you could ride a bike lol. I told him, I was a kid once lol
