Goal: Vegetables everyday 3 Pause Days
Jan 8 Day One
Jan 9 Day Two
So far this vegetables every day have been a challenge. I live in a very small village and there is no produce at the store right now. I was going to give up and use pause days but instead pulled out a can of beets.

Day 3-- Wednesday, January 6: No sweets
Day 4--Thursday, January 7: No sweets
Day 5--Friday, January 8: No sweets
Day 6-- Saturday, January 9: This day had the most temptations, but I'm proud to say I passed up the brownies and ate a second round of spinach salad instead.
Day 7 --Sunday, January 10: I'm going to commit to making sure I don't trip up later tonight and keep this victory going.
So happy to see so many people working their challenges. Go go go!

Awesome, DG! Can't say I didn't have any sweets this weekend...maybe that'll be my next challenge..
Keep it up DayDreamer...you're close to fixing that habit!
Look out, veggies! Izzie's coming! Can you stock up on some frozen vegetables?
Anyway, I guess I can legitimately check off today (edited above), but it feels like I cheated because I couldn't exercise until this afternoon, and I took a nap. Was driving to the airport at 6:30am, so definitely up early-ish.

Well I'ma gonna click off today ^ as well, 'cause I exorcised early already, and I KNOW I'm not gonna eat past 8pm, and even if I don't get to bed as early as I'd like, I know I'll fall asleep quickly!
I'm using the Exercise Early philosophy of "start moving before the brain starts thinking"...There's a lot of screaming in my head in the morning: "Be Quiet! Brain! MOVE legs!" . My brain is the best at calculating in the morning...10 more minute of sleep...5 more minutes of sleep..so I gotta

Challenge: change just one small habit!
My Challenge will be 20+ sit ups per day/every day, with 3 pauses possible.
Day 8 (Jan 9th)- 30 su & 40 squats -still working at getting more exercise and eating less food.
Jan 10th- Did my 40 squats and 30 mins of aerobics, totally forgot about the sit ups --- my bad . So pause day #1
Day 9(Jan 11th) - I made sure to do sit ups 1st thing, before the squats and before the exercise. Much better!

Hee, hee, You sound like me in the morning. I also have to just start exercising (before engaging the brain). I must admit I feel better afterwards.

SeeMyFeet - I think exercising in the morning sets you up for a good day. I know for me once I have exercised in the morning I don't want to "mess it up" after that.

(Opens door....tosses hat...)
1. Early to bed, early to rise, and Exorcise. (m-f)
2. No calories after, erm, 8pm?
Since this will be nigh impossible, I beg for 3 pause days.

Whell, if I feel like I was skirting the rules a time or two up there, yesterday made up for it. I did not take enough food to work yesterday, and worked past 8pm. Went to bed early and hungry....that'll teach me!...I've been sleeping quite well, which is unusual for me....Yep, Izzie, those were my thoughts yesterday; didn't want to erase the hard work I'd put in already!

Interesting story, so my challenge is no rice, pasta or potatoes for 21 days (2 pause days). Im on day 12 and no real issues. I have a scheduled cheat day for Friday.
So I'm starting to feel a little under the weather and decide I want some soup. So off to the supermarket I go and come to realize literally ever soup have either rice, potato, or pasta. I really don't like tomato or lentil.
Anyway after the long side of 20 min, I needed up with the organic southwestern bean soup stuff. I didn't think I would like it, but it was actually pretty darn tasty and I didn't have to pick bites of potato out of my soup which was plan B
