You've done so well, 13.8 lbs in 7 weeks is an amazing accomplishment! Check the OP again for a link to the spreadsheet that you can view to see the remaining weeks. (psst...it's 10 weeks)
LOL! Thank you!
I didn't realize the link to the spreadsheet would still be open after penis-gate..... :
Ladies!!!! I have cheat sheets for my recipes I mess around with them to make them lean and still tasty, i have one for Teriyaki chicken, bourbon chicken and sweet (crispy) chilli chicken (if you want I can write them up for you)
I love adapting stuff, the chicken thighs are the best but you can easily use breast to make them leaner, also my cake was dairy and gluten free, oh and diabetic friendly! Generally I am low carb!

I have just recently started using my slow cooker. DH never liked me to leave it on while we were at work. Now he's starting to find out how tender meat can get cooked in a slow cooker, and we do occasionally go out while it's cooking. As many times as I've heard about house fires, I've never heard of one being started by a slow-cooker. My biggest problem is remembering to start the cooking early in the morning. I am used to deciding dinner around 2 PM. Too late for a slow cooker!
Koshi...yes about the bourbon chicken recipe, any suggestion on the soy sauce. I can't eat soy sauce, gives me migraine headaches. I'm very close to goal so I can and will try your recipe soon.
Rosinante - Haha, yeah it's view only now so everyone can see it but can't edit it unless they send me a gmail!
wannabehealthy - I've enjoyed using the slow cooker! I've used it for a Caribbean pork dish and chili. I made the chili a second time with ghost chili powder and jalepenos and it was TOO hot. So annoying to cook it for so long and have it be too spicy! And my level of spice tolerance is pretty high.

Riestrella, my tolerance for hot spicy is low, and DH's is even lower, but I use a lot of mild chili powder for a lot of flavor without the heat. It's what we like.
I have heard that if food is too spicy hot, you can add something acidic to cut the heat. Like vinegar, lemon juice, lime juice, or tomatoes or juice. Another thing is to add sweet, like honey. I have never tried these tips at home. I had some honey siracha chili in a restaurant and although it was really hot, I didn't mind it much because of the honey. It was yummy!

... I can't eat soy sauce, gives me migraine headaches.
I also get migraines from soy sauce. I am not sure if it is the sodium or the soy that causes them. Most soy crops in the US are sprayed with Roundup. Also, soy in the US is extracted using hexane, which is a chemical that has significant constituents of gasoline. For this reason, some people are highly sensitive to soy. I generally don't eat much soy, but I think my migraines come from the high sodium content in the soy sauce. I get migraines from eating fast food too, so it's possible that it's MSG or sodium that gives me a problem. However, I found a low sodium soy sauce at Trader Joe's. For those times when I just want a little soy sauce, and I'm willing to risk the headache, it's an acceptable alternative.
