Down to 181 today. I just realised we only have been doing it for a week! Normal would have been me to lose max 2lbs and I am stressing out that I have lost only 2.6. Oh dear. Feels so much longer. |

No need to be stressing out around here. Are you working hard? Are you doing all the things you need to do to achieve your goal? If so, then tell that stress to get the heck on down the road. No stressing. Hard work and dedication is rewarded, sometimes when you least expect it. You are making progress and that is a wonderful thing. Embrace the positive. Well I'm still battling it out with TOM. Cardio is still good and staying on-plan with my diet, so overall, TOM can kiss it. Scale is still not moving but I do not expect to see a loss until TOM gets his ugly butt on out of here. Hope you guys have an amazing day. I know I am going to try like heck to. |

You're right no stressing! I'm down to 180.6 today - it's bloody hard to get out of those 180s!! Nearly there, couple of more days :) Going to my first 2.5 mile run today, and will be good with food. Here's to another successful day!! |

Seeing this thread in the new post section today was meant for me to read. I hope U have room for me. I need your help to get fit after getting lazy,fat & eating badly during our freezing cold winter. Dh brought home his favorite pizza for supper & mine also. I ate half of mine yesterday & saved the other half for my meals today. I logged on Kindle before starting my day while eating 2 slices for breakfast. But I'm going to start your 2 week challenge when I log off. Now I'll save my remaining 4 pizza slices for our g-babes that we're picking up today for the weekend. We're taking them to the movies tomorrow night to see the animated movie Home. I'm just so happy to find this 2 week challenge. Do you'all have this challenge repeating continuously? It's motivating because a month from now we'll b back in our :sunny: shorts, sundress & swimsuits :swim: Time for me to go get myself weighed for this 'new challenge' & get my work day going. Tonight when my g-babes r busy or sleeping I'll come back to read your posts & do personals. :wave: Dee |

By the way I skipped a bit ahead with my c25k and ran 6k today! So proud of myself. 2 months ago I barely ran for 60 seconds!

poppadum ~ That is awesome about the 6k. Great job. You are just rockin' it. I can't wait till I'm trying to get out of the 180s. Hows the weather over there across the pond? Well its my day off and I spent the morning cleaning and dancing around the house. THen we were off to a few antique stores. The venue we booked for our wedding is an old mansion that was built in 1903, so we were thinking we would do like a roaring 20s theme to fit in with the whole art deco look of the venue. So we are trying to look around and just get some inspiration. I'm still not sold on the whole theme yet. There are so many things I like, its just so hard to nail down a theme for the wedding. In any case, back home now. Think I'll relax a bit and perhaps watch a movie or play a game or two. Hope you folks are having a great Friday. No exercise today for me as its my rest day, but we plan on hitting the zoo or the fleamarket tomorrow which equals lots of walking. Oh, and the scale is finally back down. I'm hoping that bodes well with me as TOM is still about reeking havoc on my weightloss. Hopefully, I see a big whoosh as soon as TOM is out of town. |
Weather has been very good past couple of weeks. So good that I cancelled my gym membership and will just work out at home and go out running and biking. Seems such a shame exercising indoors when there's beautiful spring outside!
It will get colder and rainy from today but that will pass soon! With your positive attitude and determination you will reach all your goals very soon! You are my inspiration! :) Have you turned to Pinterest for wedding theme ideas yet? It is amazing! Just type in Art Deco wedding and you will be showered with inspiration. Or any other theme you might find something you are really happy with. I really like the art deco dresses, not sure about the design elements so much :) (I am a designer so I have my own weird reasons) Sounds like you are having a relaxing and same time active weekend, sounds perfect! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: Way to go on getting out of those 180s. You should be very proud. You are really hitting this thing hard. It is a lot harder to lose weight when you have less to lose, so Kudos for sticking with it. Glad to see your progress is coming along with the C25k.
I did set a pininterest and I think that just leads to one idea and then to another and then to another. There are a lot of great ideas on there and the problem is just finding one that fits for us or that I can pull off. I am just hopeful that one day (hopefully soon) something just pops and I'll just know "thats it." In any case, TOM is on his way out so I hope to see an after TOM whoosh soon. I remained pretty active over my weekend and will hit the cardio and ST hard this week. I really want to see 230s. Hope you guys are having an amazing weekend. |
