I am so grateful that this challenge's weigh in day is Wednesday! I have totally gone overboard this weekend with my birthday celebrations. -- Today I have no plans, so back to eating OP. Low carb/low cal.

I did not dare to weigh myself today. I will wait till tomorrow or maybe even till Tuesday. -- Drinking a ton of water today to flush all that sodium out of my system.

I will also go to the gym (as I skipped it yesterday), and lift weights and walk on the treadmill. On Thursday I made it to 35 minutes... I am shooting for the whole hour this time. But I definitely won't go less than 45 minutes. -- I walk super fast (4.7 mph), so it is exhausting. -- I will walk my doggie too later on this afternoon. We usually walk 4.2 miles, and I do that at a brisk pace too.

Hoping to see a few pound drop from last week on Wednesday

I will follow the 5:2 plan this week; fasting on Monday and Wednesday. -- I do have a lunch plans on Tuesday and Thursday, but I usually stick with salads.

What are your plans for this week?

Happy belated birthday, Sum! Hope you enjoyed it thoroughly.

Saturday was a day trip to NYC for the offspring and myself. I wore my GPS watch to see how many miles we'd log, It was super cold, so this was probably the least amount of walking we've ever done in NYC and we still got 9 miles in.

I was thinking I wouldn't worry overmuch about what I would eat since I knew I'd get some crazy mileage in. But it is such a habit to eat right that my only real indulgence was a second cup of coffee and a cheesecake brownie shared with the kiddo.

Tomorrow night is a planning meeting for a charity event held at a local diner.Good luck finding anything diet friendly on a diner menu. My plan is cereal with fruit and milk for breakfast, soup and 1/2 sandwich for lunch, and a doggie bag for 75% of what I get from the diner for dinner. Plan on going to the local community center to use the treadmill beforehand ( looks like rain all day tomorrow )

After that, the rest of the week should be back to routine...

I hope everyone had a terrific Thanksgiving!!

I'm not doing that good on my diet. Must pick up my boot straps and get my act together. (so far starting weight - 160: 158, 158, 159)

We just got our first snow fall so I guess walks are out. I hate the cold!!

wantochange, don't worry about yesterday, just go from today!


So, Thanksgiving didn't so NEAR as much damage as I thought! I was very good! Hoping to be back to my preThanksgiving weight by Wednesday and just consider the last week a wash.
