I had one some years back, and my doc has been ordering me to get another one. So far I have not cooperated with that. I REALLY found that an ordeal I do not wish repeating. Hope you had good results though Joy.
Loved your "Let the scales take care of themselves" statement
Marina posted about her weight dropping nearly another kg after she went into maintenance mode and was wondering what happened... what was she doing right. That was the scales leveling off and giving her the weight loss she had earned that had not shown up yet. That is how the scales do it. Or that is, the body does not like changing size/weight and tries to stay the same. But after some resistance it caves in and allows the change, dropping the liquid it was retaining in fat cells trying to maintain that size, results being the scales show that adjustment.

BFR: the colonoscopy procedure wasn't a big deal at all. Everyone I've talked to who has done it more than once says that the process has much improved in recent years. OTOH, how old are you? They've changed the guidelines on the recommended ages. Here's the CDC's current recommendations: http://www.cdc.gov/cancer/colorectal...guidelines.htm
Yesterdays calories 2000 oink oink oink (Kelipja lost her Doritos and I found them)

Joy, I am only 29 so I am exempt right?? Hmmmm... well, make that twice 29. OK, OK, but at least I am not yet three times 29 I have a couple of years to go before I make it to the age they say I don't have to have them. But anyway... still.... For me it was an ordeal and I don't want to again.

Ok, its seems like i lose weight while at my parents... I did notice this time that I eat less even while being surrounded by food i absolutely love. Not having to cook, getting more sleep and not being under work-related stress does me wonders and i eat less. My parents are actually coming to terms with my new eating habits and were really suportive, which helped a lot. Now that I'm back to my daily routine my biggest challenge will be to try and lead a calmer life. Not sure if it's possible!
