Jb1975 Every time I eat out, I gain. Why? Sodium in restaurant food is ridiculous. They also love to overload items with butter and other fats. Unless you ate an additional 13,300 calories, you didn't really gain 3.8lbs. I bet it is a lot of water retention from the high sodium levels.
What I do when I go out to a restaurant, is expect the gain (THEY ALWAYS COME) and then just make sure to drink a ton of water the next few days while staying on plan. I usually get fast little downs (like I am now) or a few steady days at the same weight then a big WHOOSH to where I was before I went out that night, usually actually lower then when I went out. It's like all the sodium goes out slowly, or just one day says "Ok... party is over, we're out!"
Seriously, drink a lot of water, stay with your plan, give it a few days. It will fall off.
Holding at -3lbs. If I make it through this weekend I'll be doing good. Went out to dinner, for my birthday, with part of my family last night....going out for lunch, today, with the other half. And TOM should arrive tomorrow. Lord, help me not to get down when I see an ugly number on the scale....even if it's just "water weight"! I'm staying OP so hopefully all will be well.
