Congrats to all the losers so far!!! I finally took my measurements last night. i wish I would have from the start. Looks like only half a pound lost this month, but I am wearing smaller jeans and they fit good so SOMETHING is going on besides the scale!

Okay. I haven't posted in forever, and it's because I have been afraid to weigh myself. And for good reason! I am at the beginning of my strength training and while I've seen some results in my body already (firmer, higher tush and slightly less-flabby arms), the scale has gone wacko.

I've decided that since muscle weighs more than fat and I am in the muscle growth phase, it's going to take a bit of time for me to see a sub-170lb. number when I step on the scale. I'm hereby revising my April goal to 173.

Still holding at 241, NSV today though, sorting through old clothes I found the trousers I wore to go on holiday last year, they were so tight that the flight was the most uncomfortable one I've had, for once because of my clothing and not the tiny seats! Anyway, they fit perfectly now! :)
